However, actor Mickey Rourke, who played the role of Ivan Vanko in the movie claimed that his character and screen time greatly suffered to ensure Downey Jr. remained the star.

During an interview, Rourke opened up about his brief stint in the MCU, while also voicing his frustrations with most of his scenes ending up on the chopping board. Zac Efron was among the celebrities in attendance at the 2024 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix on Sunday (March 24) in Melbourne, Australia.

The 36-year-old actor was joined by his brother Dylan Efron (not pictured), and was even seen chatting with Sam Worthington inside the Red Bull Racing garage.

At one point, Sam was also seen talking with Red Bull team principle Christian Horner.

It was an unfortunate race for Red Bull as Max Verstappen‘s car faced a mechanical issue and was out of the race on the third lap. His teammate Sergio Perez landed in fifth place.

Winning the race was Carlos Sainz, who just had appendicitis surgery two weeks prior. He was followed by teammate Charles Leclerc, in a big 1-2 win for Ferrari, and McLaren’s Lando Norris in P3.

Singer-songwriter Matthew Logan Vasquez, known for his work in indie rock band Delta Spirit, has dropped the latest single from his upcoming solo album, Frank’s Full Moon Saloon, out February 16th, 2024. There are many factors to consider when compiling such a list; the fighter’s record with more weight to more recent bouts, the calibre of their opponents and the nature of their performances. Wins aren’t the be all and end all either, a close loss or draw against one of the world’s best can stand a fighter in higher esteem than a fighter who accumulates wins over lesser opposition.

Hamish Blake and Andy Lee will have a daily show again next year.

The Today Network presenters will be hosting a new one-hour morning show from Tuesday to Friday, from 9-10am. They will also be moving their Friday drivetime show to Mondays.

It is likely the daily show will feature pre-recorded links taped just before or after theMonday night show. A spokesman for Southern Cross Austereo told Mumbrella that the logistics for this were still being finalised.

Fifi Box and Jules Lund will now cover the drive slot from Tuesday to Friday instead of Monday to Thursday.

The move comes two years after the duo quit the daily drivetime slot.

Comedian and film-maker Ed Kavalee is seeking a theatrical distributor for his second feature film Border Protection Squad, which takes aim at shows like Seven’s Border Security and the characters behind it.

Kavalee wrote and directed Border Protection Squad with producing duties shared between himself and Christian Clarke, who produced Scumbus, Nick Thompson and Rachel Millar.

Kavalee told Mumbrella’s sister title Encore: “The idea is what would happen if the guys who ran Border Security were more interested in the ratings than what actually came in and out of Australia.”

Last week Encore revealed that Kavalee’s first film Scumbus would be broadcast on Network Ten.

The agency won top honours for the second year running. Radio duo Hamish Blake and Andy Lee beat the curse of the absentee Thursday night TV audiences with a strong debut for Hamish & Andy’s Euro Gap Year.

The show averaged a metro audience of 1.413m viewers, top for the night according to preliminary overnight ratings from OzTam.

Next was Seven News with 1.352m, followed by Nine’s The Block with 1.319m.

Ten’s Masterchef was sixth for the night with 1.058m.

In the key advertising demographics of 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54, Hamish & Andy were top, followed by The Block and then Masterchef.

In the breakfast battle, Seven’s Sunrise won with 370,000 to 324,000 for Nine’s Today and 31,000 for Ten’s Breakfast.

El Paso, Texas -- The University of Texas System chancellor announced Friday he will allow a high-profile boxing match to be held on the school's El Paso campus if law enforcement can ensure a safe environment, reversing a 3-day-old ban that had upset city leaders.

Chancellor Francisco Cigarroa had canceled the June 16 fight between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Andy Lee at the Sun Bowl, citing a "higher than normal" security risk. A law enforcement official told The Associated Press on Friday that a federal risk assessment had warned that leaders of warring Mexican drug cartels would attend.

Diana Natalicio , the president of the University of Texas at El Paso, said Cigarroa told her one reason he cancelled the fight was a tie between Chavez Jr. and Sinaloa drug cartel boss Joaquin "Chapo" Guzman mentioned in a federal security report.

After pointing out that Australia’s Got Talent was up for a Logie TV award, Ten’s Charlie Pickering was challenged by hosts Hamish Blake and Andy Lee to demonstrate an impression of Sandilands, who is a judge on Agt.

Pickering began his mock Sandilands acceptance speech saying: “Mate, I hated it. Mate, Australia doesn’t have talent.”
