Rajesh Bhatt is a seasoned executive producer with over three decades of experience in the Indian film and television industry. A commerce graduate specializing in Finance and Accounting, he has built a distinguished career known for precision in production planning, budgeting, and strategic execution.
Rajesh has contributed to more than 35 feature films and series, earning acclaim for both creative collaboration and operational leadership. His notable credits include Border (1997), LOC-Kargil (2003), Umrao Jaan (2006), and the Netflix original Do Patti (2025). The latter earned him the Best Executive Producer honor at the Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation Awards 2025.
He has worked alongside leading filmmakers such as Ashutosh Gowariker, Sudipto Sen, Rajkumar Santoshi, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, J.P. Dutta, Mahesh Bhatt, Anil Sharma and Shashanka Chaturvedi (Bob), and has led major productions for studios including Reliance Entertainment, Eros International, S Spice Studios, Ashutosh Gowariker Productions, Roy Kapur Films, Netflix and Kathha Pictures. Rajesh also oversaw the production of the acclaimed TV series Buddha: Rajaon Ka Raja, a landmark historical drama for S Spice Studios.
Currently serving as CEO and Producer at Sipping Tea Cinemas, he is spearheading a diverse content slate of feature films and web series focused on original storytelling and high production values.
His accolades include multiple Best Executive Producer awards, as well as serving as Vice President of the Association of Cine Production Executives (2001-2003).
