If you're obsessed with the afterlife of Ghosts, then prepare for a lifetime of more laughs with Joe Port and Joe Wiseman's new comedy series. The co-creators and executive producers of the hit CBS series Ghosts are developing another show, and CBS has ordered a pilot for it. Titled Eternally Yours, it is also set in a supernatural world, but this time, it features the undead rather than the just dead. Eternally Yours tells the story of two vampires who have been married for 500 years. However, their love is tested when their daughter begins dating a human. The show does not have a premiere date yet, and no cast has been announced. Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum, and Jason Wang serve as executive producers on the project.
Meanwhile, the afterlife of Ghosts seems long after the hit comedy series was renewed for two more seasons. The renewal came as no surprise,...

The colorful historical characters of the Ghosts TV series may be dead, but their show certainly isn't. The sitcom has been a big hit for CBS in the past, but nothing's guaranteed these days, especially in the television industry. The original UK version of the series ended after 34 episodes, and the US version has already surpassed that number. Will Ghosts be cancelled or renewed for season five? Stay tuned.

Ghosts may not return until the fall time, but we’re already dying to know what will happen to Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) when Season 5 does arrive. As viewers will recall, Jay’s life was put in danger after he learned that the publicist he’d signed a contract with was actually a demon. Having never seen Elias Woodstone (Matt Walsh) before, Jay wouldn’t have recognized the danger of entering such a deal. But when the demon showed his face at the launch event for Sam (Rose McIver) and Isaac’s (Brandon Scott Jones) book, Jay finally learned he’d actually signed his soul over to hell. An unfortunate reality of that deal is that Elias made it clear he’ll do all he can to reap Jay’s soul sooner rather than later. This threat was revealed when Elias made a chandelier in Woodstone’s new restaurant collapse, nearly crushing Jay.

Surprise! CBS' Ghosts is quite a revolutionary endeavor, especially for a sitcom on a broadcast network. A big part of that is thanks to costar Brandon Scott Jones, who plays the ephemeral, late Isaac Higgintoot — a soldier who fought on the side of the American Continental Congress in the Revolutionary War.
Now, Isaac wasn't a big fan of war — he preferred surrendering post-battle — and actually met his end not by a barrage of buckshot, but due to dysentery. Still, Isaac isn't only revolutionary thanks to his character: He's possibly one of the first American military men to adhere to the "don't ask, don't tell" policy of being gay in the U.S. armed forces.
"In his brain he was so jazzed to be at the beginning of America, and he's not even realizing that some of the stuff he's doing is working against who he is as a person," Jones...

Ghosts star Utkarsh Ambudkar has teased what fans can expect from his character in the upcoming fifth season of the hit CBS sitcom. For the past four seasons, Ambudkar has been playing the leading role of Jay, who was introduced as a chef and an understanding husband, who gave up his city job to open a bed and breakfast with his wife Sam, after she suddenly inherited an old country mansion.

His life is now at risk, as Elias will not stop until he claims Jay’s soul. Speaking with Collider, Ambudkar opened up about his character’s Season 5 storyline, revealing that Sam and their ghost friends will now be very protective of Jay. Editor's note: This article contains spoilers for the Ghosts Season 4 finale.
GhostsSeason 4 has come to a close. After 22 episodes of laughs and undead shenanigans, we've been left on the edge of our seats awaiting the return of Season 5 this fall. While the main cliffhanger revolves around the fate of Jay's (Utkarsh Ambudkar) soul after he signed a contract with Elias (Matt Walsh), who has upgraded his afterlife status to Demon, we're still curious about what's in store for the rest of our favorite characters. As far as relationships go, Season 4 took our ghosts all over the map — literally! Pete (Richie Moriarty) continued his romance with Donna (Allegra Edwards) only to later break up with her in the finale, now that his long-time crush, Alberta (Danielle Pinnock), is interested in being with him.
Sass (Román Zaragoza) finally found love with another roaming ghost named Joan (Taylor Ortega), a screenwriter from the 1940s.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Ghosts Season 4 Episode 22, “The Devil Went Down to Woodstone.”] Ghosts served up another massive cliffhanger in its latest finale as Season 4 closed out with Elias Woodstone’s (Matt Walsh) return in the aptly titled episode, “The Devil Went Down to Woodstone.” But it wasn’t all doom and gloom as it also made way for a potential relationship between Alberta (Danielle Pinnock) and Pete (Richie Moriarty). The episode revolved around Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) throwing a book launch party for her and Isaac’s (Brandon Scott Jones) novel, but things got tense when Puritan spirit Patience (Mary Holland) reemerged from the dirt to warn that she felt evil had arrived at Woodstone. While everyone was unaware of Elias’s presence until the end of the episode, Patience posed a problem for Sam and Jay’s party as she threatened to use her bloody ghost gift to break up the soiree.

Spoiler Alert: This story contains spoilers for the season finale of “Ghosts,” which aired Thursday night on CBS.
Oh hell no. “Ghosts” just ended its fourth season with a hell of a cliffhanger: Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) has signed a new publicist to help drum up interest in his restaurant — and it appears to be working! But there’s a catch: That contract he signed wasn’t actually to hire a P.R. team. It was to sell his soul to the devil, and that’s not a publicist — that’s Elias Woodstone (Matt Walsh), who can now make physical appearances on earth as the devil’s emissary.
And here’s one more catch: The devil doesn’t want to wait for Jay’s soul. So Elias will now try to bring about Jay’s death, sooner rather than later.

The trailer for the Ghostsseason 4 finale reveals the return of the show's most annoying spirit. The hit sitcom, from executive producers Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, is a long way from the finish line. Ghosts season 5 is confirmed, as is season 6. But before then, the upcoming finale looks to set up a few cliffhangers and address lingering threads. There's the return of the villainous Elias (Matt Walsh) and the reemergence of Patience (Mary Holland), who many spirits find annoying. Her return may not help her case all that much.
In the trailer for the Ghosts season 4 finale, Patience returns. While everyone is having fun at a party thrown for Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones), Patience is disturbed by the idea of deviled eggs, and she makes it known. This puts Sam (Rose McIver), Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar), and the rest of the party guests on edge. The season 4 finale, titled "The Devil Went Down", premieres Thursday,...

New images from the Ghosts season 4 finale reveal the return of two key characters. After a third installment that was shortened due to the 2023 writers and actors strikes, the supernatural comedy returned in full force to dig deeper into its cohort of undead spirits. It also brought old antagonists and introduced new ones, putting Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) in some particular danger. It sets up a finale that could potentially overflow with cliffhangers, heading into the already-renewed Ghosts season 5.

GhostsSeason 4 is soon to be "sucked off" into the sky as the final episode edges nearer. What has been perhaps the best season of the US remake of the UK series yet, Season 4, has produced endless laughs and a neat touch of heartwarming emotion as it ebbed and flowed between the stories of the titular spirits and Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar)'s life in Woodstone B&b. The penultimate episode of GhostsSeason 4 airs tonight on CBS, and "Kyle" will feature a special guest appearance from Superstore alum Ben Feldmanas the titular newcomer, who shares Sam's (Rose McIver) ability to see ghosts. Ahead of the episode, Collider is delighted to bring you a sneak peek featuring Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky) and Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones) making some hilariously outlandish demands of Kyle, who appears to have been hired to work at Woodstone — both for the B&b and the ghosts.
In our exclusive sneak peek, the house's bossiest ghosts are thrilled to have their own "dedicated servant" and are ready to break him in by bringing him their biggest asks: a puppy and for the house to constantly smell like a freshly microwaved hot pocket. Sam, who's quite used to the ghosts asking her any number of things, laughs off the moment and wishes Kyle good luck with their antics.

If you think I am about to rant about my favorite show, Ghosts, you are absolutely right. There’s a reason the series was renewed for two more seasons without anyone objecting.
The CBS show isn’t usually the kind of series with newsworthy episodic arcs.
Instead, Ghosts is more like a ninja, ensnaring viewers with brilliant comedy and genuine, heartfelt moments that blend seamlessly together. How diabolical.
(Bertrand Calmeau/CBS)
In all seriousness, there is a reason why there aren’t many conversations surrounding this show. It’s also tied to why the show was given a double dose of renewal.
If you haven’t given Ghosts a chance, you’re not too late to the party, unlike these spirits. Honestly, I’m jealous of viewers who get to experience the series for the first time.

Ghosts‘ Season 4 finale is in sight and CBS is already revealing details about the pivotal installment, “The Devil Went Down to Woodstone,” which will welcome back three familiar faces: Mary Holland‘s Puritan spirit Patience, Punam Patel as Jay’s (Utkarsh Ambudkar) sister Bela, and Matt Walsh‘s devilish Elias Woodstone. While we have yet to see the episodes in between the forthcoming seventeenth installment, “His Girl Shiki,” and the finale (Episode 22), there are a few lingering questions that will likely be addressed in this last chapter for Season 4. When it comes to CBS‘s Ghosts, Season 4 continues to deliver laughs as the series follows the day-to-day of Woodstone B&b’s living proprietors Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) alongside cohabitating spirits, but when will they return to TV screens? The annual basketball event is occupying Thursday nights on CBS, displacing Ghosts from the schedule altogether. CBS So, when can viewers anticipate the return of Sam, Jay, and spirits Alberta (Danielle Pinnock), Isaac (Brandon Scott Jones), Flower (Sheila Carrasco), Trevor (Asher Grodman), Hetty (Rebecca Wisocky), Sasappis (Román Zaragoza), Pete (Richie Moriarty), and Thorfinn (Devan Chandler Long)? In season four, episode 16 of CBS’s Ghosts, Hetty’s ghostly power will finally be revealed. But first, let’s discuss the major twist at the end of episode 15. High Potential’s Deniz Akdeniz reprised his role as Chris, the dinosaur-loving stripper, and pitched a special “It’s Raining Men” package for Alberta’s descendant, Alicia, to celebrate her bachelorette party.
Unfortunately for Chris, the “Raining Men” package required him to jump from a plane and parachute onto the Woodstone property. He crashed through the roof of Jay’s restaurant and became the latest addition to the roster of ghosts haunting the property. It’s going to be fun to see how Chris will interact with the core group-and if he’ll hook up with Isaac.

This week on NCIS, the plan to draw out an elusive thief introduced us to a woman with the potential to steal… Jimmy Palmer’s heart.
The Case of the Week is set in motion by Jimmy’s daughter Victoria (played by Brian Dietzen’s real-life kid, Elle Graper) revealing to Special Agent Nick —and not her dad, who is “just an M.E.” — that she had found a cache of cash when out one night, though she lied about where, at first, because she had quietly bailed on participating in the school science fair this year, much to her father’s dismay.
