Peter Ong Lim is a Writer/Producer for POL Productions LLC, a

Peter is also a Cancer Research Scientist at JW Theriac Pharmaceuticals.
He was a Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) Program Advisor for Asian Independent Film as well as a Community Advisory Committee member; a Special Projects Advisor - Executive Action Committee at the International Television Festival (ITVFest) and PopConLA; a Board Member for the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY); Social Media Administrator for WA FilmPAC (Political Action Committee); an AFI/Sloan Science Advisor; and a former Facilitator of the Institute for Int'l Film Financing (IIFF) Seattle/PNW branch.
On November 2009, he was selected as one of the 10 participants to the 2009 AFI Catalyst Workshop. The workshop encourages and trains scientists and engineers to develop Film and Television projects.
During most of the '90s, he had been involved in numerous creative endeavors for the Philippine entertainment industry. He was a former Production Manager at Available Light Productions (AVL), under renowned Philippine director, Jose Javier Reyes. He also appeared in a few films, local sitcoms and commercials.
In 1997, he won 1st prize in the Carlos P. Palanca Awards, Teleplay Category for Pula. In 1998-99, he co-wrote 2 Filipino films: 'Jose Rizal' with Ricky Lee & Jun Robles Lana and 'Sagad sa Init', with Jun Robles Lana.
Jose Rizal, a biopic of the Philippine National Hero premiered as a Panorama Official Selection at the Berlin International Film Festival in 1998. The film won several local (Metro Manila Film Festival, FAMAS, Gawad Urian, Star Awards)as well as international (Audience Awards from the Toronto Film Festival and the Chicago International Film Festival).
Peter wrote for several Philippine television shows - as a staff-writer for Verano, Maynila and Companero y Companera; and freelance for Love Notes, GMA Love Stories, and GMA Specials.
