We have learned that there will be a dance contest in Chicago on Oct. 23, 2010 in celebration of the upcoming film Burlesque starring Cher, Christina Aguilera, Kristen Bell, Stanley Tucci, Alan Cumming and Peter Gallagher. Burlesque, which opens on Nov. 24, 2010, also stars Cam Gigandet, Eric Dane, Julianne Hough, Blair Redford, Wendy Benson-Landes, David Walton, Tanee McCall, Katerina Mikailenko and Black Thomas from writer and director Steven Antin. The Chicago winner will receive $300 and VIP seating at the Chicago advance screening with 10 friends. The Chicago winner’s video will be posted on MTV.com with the winners from other cities and be voted upon to determine the grand-prize winner.
