Jamie Nelsen

Jamie Nelsen, ACE began her career as a reality TV picture editor and received Emmy Award nominations for her work on The Apprentice, Top Chef and Project Runway, the latter for which she received the Emmy for Outstanding Picture Editing for Reality Programming. Her scripted comedy credits include Netflix's Arrested Development, HBO's Insecure and ABC's blackish for which she received the ACE Eddie Award for Best Comedy Editing. Her feature film credits include Netflix's You People, directed by Kenya Barris and Bucky F*king Dent, directed by David Duchovny. Jamie produced the .ish franchise for ABC Studios (mixed ish, Emmy- nominated black ish, and Freeform's critically-acclaimed grown ish) and now serves as Senior Vice President of Post Production for Barris' company, Khalabo Ink Society. Jamie was recognized by Variety Magazine in the Below-the Line Impact Report as one of the "Up Next" Artisans. She is a founding member of Black in Post, an initiative to promote, connect and support Black talent in Post Production. Jamie is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Motion Picture Editors Guild and American Cinema Editors.
