Alonso Llosa (born in Lima, Peru) is a writer-director. His first feature, The Restoration, premiered at Santa Barbara International Film Festival (2020), and was an official selection at Vancouver International Film Festival, Festival Internacional de Cine de Guadalajara among others. His short film Living Legend played at numerous festivals (Hamptons IFF, Palms Springs Shortfest), earned multiple awards and was sold to HBO. The script for The Restoration earned Peru's Ministry of Culture production grant (2016), was a Columbia University Blue List Winner (2017). Alonso holds a BA from UCLA and an MFA from Columbia University.
