Bread Crumbs is a low budget production from director Mike Nichols (Dead Calling) and a collaboration of writers, listed above. This title was released January 25, 2011 on DVD, with a recent showing on video-on-demand, through Gravitas Ventures (February). Bread Crumbs updates the age-old "Hansel and Gretel" story, with more blood and less ginger bread houses. The result is more mediocrity, despite the film taking place during a remote porn' film shoot.
Casting must have had a limited budget for this film, as director Nichols also plays one of the lead characters. His acting is that of an ambitious New Yawker filmmaker, who really wants to get his money shots on the shoot right. The other actors include Steve Carey an up-and-comer, Alana Curry...

Who loves a good porn related fairy tale!? Mike Nichols' 'BreadCrumbs' is finally going to be available to buy on DVD across Us stores in the new year. The re-imagining of the classic Brothers Grimm tale 'Hansel and Gretel' in which a group of porn filmmakers are systematically attacked by 2 children on the set of a remote shoot arrive s on 25 January 2011, courtesy of Green Apple Entertainment. Of course when you're talking slashers and pornstars you can bet your bottom dollar that hotties are involved. Mike Nichols of 2006's Dead Calling is back with his sophomore outing BreadCrumbs The film is a spin on the fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel and stars Halloween 's Kristina Klebe, Marianne Hagan ( Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers ), Alana Curry ( 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams ), Zoe Sloane and Douglas Nyback. BreadCrumbs follows a group of Filmmakers who are systematically attacked by two children on the set of a remote shoot. It's currently seeking distribution; once that is locked, we'll let you know!
