Biography

Kranthi Nag is a Los Angeles-based actor known for his precision, presence, and grounding in Method acting. A graduate of The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, he earned his associate's degree in 2024, training under leading practitioners in the craft. His journey began early - at just 12 years old, he made his screen debut in the Telugu feature film Current (2009), produced by Annapurna Studios.

Nag's breakout performances include Comet Orphan (2024), a sharp, character-driven mockumentary that premiered at The Marilyn Monroe Theatre and was later selected for the Marché du Film at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival. He also starred in Chop Chop (2024), a surreal short that swept Best Acting, Best Screenplay, and Best of Fest at the 3x5 Film Festival in Los Angeles. In The Cocktail Party (2023), a fast-paced dramatic short, he led a cast in a project that became a semi-finalist at Indie Short Fest and won Best Student Film at the International Independent Film Awards.

He has also starred in several digital and vertical-format TV mini-series with a very strong IMDb ratings, further showcasing his range across contemporary formats.
