Image
Country singer Kellie Pickler tragically lost her husband Kyle Jacobs in 2023. Since then, the American Idol alum has been battling her in-laws over his estate. An inside source recently shed some light on the situation.

Kellie Pickler’s In-Laws Became Co-Administrators Of Their Late Son’s Death

Pickler first rose to prominence as a contestant on American Idol‘s fifth season. She finished the season in sixth place.

Pickler would later release her debut album, Small Town Girl, which would end up being certified gold by the RIAA. She would follow up with a few more albums over the years, including her self-titled second album.

Tragically, Pickler’s husband of twelve years, Kyle Jacobs, passed away from a self-inflicted gunshot wound back in 2023. He was 49 at the time of his death, which a medical examiner later ruled as a suicide.

Blake Shelton Teams Up With Kid Rock For ‘Non-Woke’ Tour?
Image
Kid Rock is an avid supporter of President-elect Donald Trump. He performed at several of the politician’s rallies and the 2024 Republican National Convention. Rumors circulated on social media that the rocker would team up with country artist Blake Shelton for a “non-woke” tour of states that overwhelmingly voted for Trump. Keep reading for all the details on the alleged tour.

Blake Shelton Teams Up With Kid Rock For ‘Non-Woke’ Tour?

Kid Rock’s political leanings are very clear. What about Blake Shelton? The country singer hasn’t been as vocal about his politics as some other musicians. In 2016, he tweeted, “Hey guys lets talk politics. I believe many of the challenges this nation faces today can be solved. And I’m just gonna say what I think.” But he never really followed up with further comment.

Blake Shelton

His wife, No Doubt singer, Gwen Stefani is rumored to be a Democrat,...

Kid Rock Will Gather ‘God-Fearing Patriots’ Again for 2025 Rock the Country Tour
Image
The traveling festival Rock the Country is expanding. Co-founder Kid Rock will headline the second iteration of the event with Nickelback in 11 cities across America between April and July 2025, up from seven cities during this year’s inaugural run. But it isn’t just the lineup of country music acts or tour stops that are expanding — so is Rock’s definition of the event.

“It’s this simple, Rock The Country isn’t just a music festival, it’s a movement,” he said in a statement. “It’s a place for hard working,...

Inside TV’s Booming ‘Heartland Core’ Business: How ITV America’s Thinkfactory Is Cornering the Country Market From Nashville
Image
While nothing holds a candle to the Olympics at the moment for NBC, one of the broadcaster’s other prides and joys of the summer was a two-hour concert special for late country singer Toby Keith. Featuring performances by Trace Adkins, Priscilla Block, Luke Bryan, Jelly Roll, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Clay Walker, and Lainey Wilson, plus Keith’s daughter, Krystal Keith, among others, “Toby Keith: American Icon” drew 4.7 million viewers when it debuted across NBC on Aug. 28 and next day on streamer Peacock.

Filmed in Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, the two-hour special was the most-watched show across broadcast that night and grew 10% from its “America’s Got Talent” lead-in — a show that’s typically hard to top in viewers for NBC. And the win was in large part thanks to ITV America’s Thinkfactory Media, the production company behind “Gene Simmons Family Jewels,” “Hatfields & McCoys” and the “Mama June” reality series,...

Video of Toby Keith’s Final Recording Session Unveiled in Emotional Moment During Tribute Special Taping in Nashville
Image
Of all the performances at “Toby Keith: American Icon,” a tribute show held at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena Monday night, the most surprising was an unexpected appearance by Keith himself — on the overhead video screens, filmed during what was described as his final recording session.

The emotional kicker came near the end of the all-star concert, as Keith was seen in a recording studio singing a cover of “Ships That Don’t Come In,” recorded in 1992 by Joe Diffie, who died of complications from Covid in 2020. The musical accompaniment was provided live by the tribute special’s house band as Keith, in studio headphones, sang the bittersweet chorus: “So here’s to all the soldiers / Who have ever died in vain / The insane locked up in themselves / And the homeless down on Main / To those who stand on empty shores / And spit against the wind /And those who wait forever...

The 2024 ACM Awards Were Cute, Feel-Good, and (Mostly) Predictable
Image
Going into the 2024 ACM Awards, you didn’t have to be clairvoyant to nail some key predictions. Host Reba McEntire was sure to be both corny and unflappable, Lainey Wilson was a lock to win Entertainer of the Year, and country interloper Post Malone, scruffy and face-tattooed, was going to charm the pants off everyone.

That all of that happened isn’t a bad thing. In fact, there was something especially comforting about the predictability of this year’s ACMs, held for a second year in a row at the...

Riverdale Series Finale Ending Explained: What Happened To Archie & His Friends
Image
Riverdale's series finale explores the at-times ridiculousness of its source material, offering a fun and meta-filled conclusion. The Riverdale gang drifts apart over time, offering a heartbreaking twist that reflects the show's nostalgic approach and the reality of growing up.

After six years, seven seasons, and all the epic highs and lows of high school football, the Riverdale series finale finally reveals what happens to Archie and his friends from the titular "town with pep." Packed with meta references to its Archie Comics roots, Riverdale has no problem exploring the at-times ridiculousness of its source material. How Riverdale's Foray Into The '50s Failed Its Fanbase
Riverdale (2017)
Riverdale's final season has pushed its characters from their adult states back to a teenage facsimile -- only this time, they're stuck in the 1950s.

For some, the '50s were the reset they'd been hoping to see from Riverdale, which can offer fresh, campy storytelling. For others, Riverdale's foray into the '50s has fallen hopelessly flat.

Riverdale Season 5 starts with a seven-year time jump that aged all the characters from high school seniors to aimless twenty-somethings. Divulging in more mature plots and relationships that the high school years hadn't seen before, the time jump allowed the characters to continue to grow.

Riverdale Season 6 moved into the supernatural, with the season culminating in Riverdale Season 6 Episode 22, "Chapter One Hundred and Seventeen: The Night Of The Comet," wherein the residents of Riverdale were faced with a new kind of peril as a comet hurdled towards them, threatening to wipe them...

Riverdale first premiered in 2017 and is a loose adaptation of the characters and stories from Archie Comics. Riverdale Season 7 Cast Adds 2, Including New Twin Brother for Cheryl
Image
Riverdale season 7 has added new cast members, including a new twin for Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch). The CW series, which is a gritty reboot of the iconic characters of Archie Comics, has used Cheryl's twin brother Jason (Trevor Stines) as a plot point from the very beginning, as season 1 centered on solving his murder. Per TVLine, two new cast members have been added to Riverdale's impending season 7, which will be the final season of the series. First and foremost is Nicholas Barasch, who will be playing a newly alive Julian Blossom, who is a bullying teenager at the high school attended by Archie and company.
