Biography

Shamz Garuba is an Actor, Producer and Model of Nigerian descent. He began his modeling in 2016 while studying for his degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. Shamz quickly made a name for himself, walking runways for Nigeria's top fashion designers and appearing in major campaigns and commercials. After completing his degree, Shamz had a brief stint in the corporate world, however his passion for the arts grown by his experience in the creative industry drew him to acting in 2022 and made his acting debut in miniseries "Crime and Justice Lagos" a Showmax original series where he played "Rabiu". He has since gone on to book roles in various movies including "Dear Diane", "Red Circle" and "A night in 2005". Shamz is a versatile creative who is constantly studying and exploring ways to bring depth and authenticity to every role he takes on.
