Game of Thrones Season 8 Finally Has a Premiere Date
It's about time. This morning, HBO dropped a teaser video promoting Game of Thrones' highly anticipated final season. While it sadly didn't feature any new footage, it did recap what led its heroes and villains to the impending conclusion. In between shots of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and others, the network teased its dramatic finale. "Every battle. Every betrayal. Every risk. Every fight. Every sacrifice. Every death," it said. "All for the throne." The trailer also revealed the final six episodes will begin airing in April 2019. The first episode, written by Dave Hill and directed by David Nutter, does not have a specific airdate at this time. ...

Fund This Film: NYC Dramedy ‘Sidewalk Traffic’ Co-Starring Samm Levine and Heather Matarazzo
Typically the films spotlighted in our Fund This Film column are found on Kickstarter or Indiegogo. This week, I’ve found a project to share that is conducting its crowdfunding efforts through the lesser-known site RocketHub. By “I’ve found,” I should point out that I was made aware of the film by a hometown acquaintance with a minor onscreen role, via his Facebook page. It’s a small connection that has even less bearing on my decision to showcase the project than the fact that Freaks and Geeks actor Samm Levine co-stars (he is the one cast member of that show who really needs to be in more stuff), but I like to offer full disclosure. The film in need is titled Sidewalk Traffic, and it’s written and directed by Anthony L. Fisher, whose past work on the short Reason TV documentary Abandoned in Guatemala: The Failure of International Adoption and the Groundhog Day-ish...

Stallin' Episode Three!
Dave Hill
Everyone knows that the best conversations happen in the ladies' bathroom. So that's exactly where we shot our first web series, Stallin' with Dave Hill. For our third episode, Dave sat down with rising stand-up comedian and "Best Week Ever" cast member Michael Che!

Che has made a name for himself in the New York stand-up scene and was recently listed on Rolling Stone's "50 Funniest People Now". During his visit to our office bathroom set, Che talked about being a "native" New Yorker, the first time he ever did stand-up and how public restrooms are like the police ("I don't want to use it, but I like to know it's always there") among other, slightly more scatological things.

Watch Che's interview above and also be sure to check out episode one with John Hodgman and episode two with Nikki Glaser and Sara Schaefer.

‘All’s Faire’: The Ren is Back in Town
"This tis the story of a band of gentlefolk who strive to bring forthe the finest renntertainment on the entire Delmarva Peninsula!" The folks at Dinosaur Diorama have been busy this month, serving up its first full-length episode of The Burg since 2007 that clocked in at a whopping 20 minutes. Then on November 17th, they premiered their first season of the "Renntertainment" comedy, All's Faire. Now you may be asking yourself, "wait, this is the First season of All's Faire? Wasn't that a Streamy-nominated show last year?" I had the chance to correspond with Dinosaur Diorama's Thom Woodley to get the details on how the current episodes tie into the Kingdom of Gary-shire upon Delmarva universe of Alls Faire. "We did use some of what we shot in 2008," said Woodley. "Those 9 shorts are nonchronological - they're just slices of life at the faire. Actually, we just took those out of our...
