Jealousy (2013)
Specialty Box Office Preview: ‘The Trip To Italy’, ‘Frank’, ‘Jealousy’, ‘Life After Beth’, ‘Fort McCoy’
Jealousy (2013)
In this weekend’s specialty box-office debuts, IFC Films hopes to replicate the critical and commercial success of Michael Winterbottom’s first amusing little travelogue/talker of a feature, The Trip, with a semi-sequel, The Trip To Italy. The second Trip again stars Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon; the entertainingly garrulous pair on yet another jaunt across restaurants, countryside and philosophy. The latest Trip will bow in NYC and La this weekend after a successful Australian run earlier this summer (or their winter).

Frank, a British-Irish-American drama from Magnolia Pictures featuring Michael Fassbender that had runs at Sundance and SXSW, bows in only one U.S. theater this weekend. Frank centers on an eccentric band, giving Fassy fans a chance to hear the Oscar-nominated actor sing, albeit from behind a mask (he’s not bad, actually).

Other notable new films include Philippe Garrel‘s Jealousy, which Distrib Films will expand...

Lindsay Lohan Hosting Saturday Night Live
Saturday Night Live (1975)
Lindsay Lohan will host the March 3, 2012 episode of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ despite the fact that she has no projects to promote, CNN is reporting. NBC made the announcement during a commercial break on the February 18 episode, which one of the sketch show’s alums, May Rudolph, hosted. The musical guest to accompany Lohan is Jack White, who will be making his solo artist debut, after working with the groups The White Stripes and The Raconteurs. After NBC announced the news on-air, it tweeted “That’s right: March 3rd, @lindsaylohan with musical guest Jack white!!” Lohan then tweeted about the news, saying “SNL! I love @NBC!” Lohan’s publicist, Steve Honig,...

Lindsay Lohan to Host Saturday Night Live on March 3rd
That's right, folks. Despite the fact that Lindsay Lohan has nothing to promote and the troubled actress really doesn't have much of a career beyond some risque photo-shoots showing up on the internet every couple weeks, the Freaky Friday and Mean Girls star is set to host Saturday Night Live on March 3rd with musical guest Jack White, making his debut as a solo artist outside of his work with The White Stripes and The Raconteurs. NBC announced the news during a commercial break on this past weekend's SNL with host Maya Rudolph, and while we're not sure how the new episode with Lohan is going to turn out (or if people even care anymore), last weekend's episode was an absolute laugh riot. Not only did it mark the return of SNL veteran Rudolph as host, but Justin Timberlake, Amy Poehler (on both Weekend Update and a Bronx Beat sketch...

Renee Weds Her Country Sweetheart in Shock Ceremony
Renée Zellweger
Renee Zellweger has stunned Hollywood by marrying her country sweetheart Kenny Chesney. Details are sketchy, but it's reported the Chicago star and her new man exchanged vows yesterday on the Caribbean island of St Johns, where Chesney has a holiday home. Chesney, 37, jetted off to make Zellweger his bride after performing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Saturday. He's expected back on stage in Little Rock, Arkansas, on Thursday. Since her 2000 engagement to Jim Carrey, the actress has dated a string of rockers and musicians, including The White Stripes' Jack White and Irish singer/songwriter Damien Rice. Country superstar Chesney and his new blushing bride were romantically linked for the first time earlier this month when the Bridget Jones's Diary star was spotted kissing her new beau at one of his shows. It's the first marriage for both stars.
