Hybrid(I)

Hybrid are Mike Truman & Charlotte Truman who have gained international acclaim for their combination contemporary electronic music with enveloping orchestral scores and soundscapes. Hybrid's first artist album 'Wide Angle' in 1999 was considered to be ground breaking in fusing modern electronica with performances from the Russian Federal Orchestra. They have written a further five artist albums, toured around many of the world's most iconic music venues and festivals and have remixed artists as diverse as New Order, Radiohead, Idris Elba & Cypress Hill, UNKLE, Alanis Morrisette, Jean Michelle Jarre, Moby, Future Sound Of London and The Orb.

A natural progression from their orchestral heavy albums led them into film scoring when they were invited to work on Tony Scott's Man On Fire in 2004 through friend and collaborator Harry Gregson-Williams. Hybrid have since worked extensively throughout the film music industry on numerous projects including the Fast & Furious franchise, Fifty Shades Freed, Hobbs & Shaw and Wonder Woman 1984.

Hybrid released their 6th studio album in 2021, Black Halo which went straight to #1 in the Electronic charts in the UK, USA and Australia. The band are about to star work on the Brilliant Pictures production Deep Fear starring Ed Westwick and Mãdãlina Ghenea and directed by Marcus Adams and slated for release in early 2023.
