Andy Cohen Slams Luis Ruelas For Saying He Hopes Margaret Josephs Son Suffers
Image
Everyone agreed Luis went too far by targeting Margarets son and saying he wished he "suffered." Andy Cohen sympathized with Margaret, stating he would have been furious if someone talked about his children that way. Luis quickly regretted his heated comments and publicly apologized for his behavior on Rhonj.

Andy Cohen was beyond angry about Luis Ruelas comments about Margaret Josephs son during a heated exchange with Teresa Giudice. The Watch What Happens Live host wasnt the only one, as everyone seemed to agree that Luis crossed a line by bringing in Margarets son, and Andy said that he would have lost it if someone talked that way about his children.

Related Rhonj Reportedly Going On Hiatus After Andy Cohen Announced Reboot

Sources claim Rhonj won't resume filming until next year as they figure out the future of the show.

It didn't take Luis long to reach the same conclusions Andy did.

Andy Cohen says ‘darkest moment’ of the Rhonj finale was Luis Ruelas’s comment about son of Margaret Josephs
Margaret Josephs
Luis Ruelas’s comment about Margaret Josephs’s son has garnered backlash on social media and now Andy Cohen is chiming in.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey executive producer dished about the last episode of Season 14 and called Luis’s remarks the “darkest moment” in the finale.

Andy even referenced Danielle Cabral’s angry lunge at Jennifer Aydin and admitted that if anyone made those comments about his two kids, that would be his response.

After feeling the heat from Rhonj viewers, Luis apologized on social media a few days after the episode aired.

Meanwhile, we haven’t heard from Margaret regarding how she feels about Luis’ nasty comment or his half-hearted apology.

We’ll likely get at least some of those answers in a group sit down, which is set to air in the next few days instead of a traditional reunion.

The cast will come together for...

Clone High Trailer: HBO Max Revives Phil Lord And Chris Miller's Cult Cartoon Series
Image
Phil Lord and Chris Miller, directors of hits like "21 Jump Street" as well as the producers of "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," are at the top of the food chain in Hollywood these days -- but it wasn't always that way. Earlier on in their careers, when they were green, they made a little animated show called "Clone High" for MTV that, despite gaining critical acclaim and a loving audience, lasted just one season. Now though, the show is coming back on HBO Max, and we've got a brand new teaser trailer for the revival of this cult classic.

Lord and Miller have put their powers to use to bring back their beloved series, with original voice actors Will Forte and Nicole Sullivan returning as well. Lord is also back as Scudworth, Miller as JFK and Mr. B, Christa Miller as Candide Sampson, Donald Faison as George Washington Carver, and Judah Miller as Scangrade.

‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’ Eviscerates Manipulative Sitcoms Like ‘Fuller House’ By Making One of Their Own
Andrea Barber, Candace Cameron Bure, and Jodie Sweetin in Fuller House (2016)
Rob McElhenney, Glenn Howerton, and Charlie Day have never been afraid to get a little meta with “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” From “The Gang Recycles Their Trash” (in which plot points from previous episodes were repurposed) to “The Gang Misses the Boat” (a Season 10 episode where the people of Paddy’s Pub decide they’ve drifted too far from their roots), episodes crop up where the “It’s Always Sunny” gang is doing more than comment on society: They’re talking about themselves.

What could come across as unappealingly egocentric is instead charmingly apt considering “Sunny” is all about selfish assholes, and the topic of this week’s episode channels such narcissistic villainy toward a new purpose: highlighting the difference between half-hour comedies and manipulative sitcoms. Similar to the brilliant deconstruction of classic sitcom structuring in “The Gang Tries Desperately to Win an Award” (the lighting! the romantic pairings!

The ‘Hotwives’ Begin Their Second Season On Hulu
Last year, they took Orlando by storm. In 2015, they’re off to Sin City. They’re the Hotwives, and as of August 18th, they have returned to Hulu for their second season.

Hotwives, which parodies the Real Housewives TV franchise, began in 2014 with The Hotwives of Orlando, which provided plenty of laughs and ultimately secured multiple nominations for the upcoming Streamy Awards. Season two is titled The Hotwives of Las Vegas, but while it may have a new setting, the show’s cast remains most intact. Casey Wilson, for example, portrays a trashy Southern belle named Jenfer Beudon after playing a “trophy wife” named Tawny St. John in season one. Series creators Dannah Phirman and Danielle Schneider also show up as two of the seven hotwives.

As with the web series Burning Love, Hotwives is a co-production between Paramount Digital and Abominable Pictures. Those two studios have developed a distinct flavor for their collaborations,...

Hulu Renews ‘Hotwives Of Orlando’ For Season Season Set In Sin City
The show that was perhaps Hulu's strongest original series of 2014 will return for another run. The Hotwives of Orlando, which makes fun of Bravo's Real Housewives franchise, will come back for a second season that will take place in Las Vegas.

Hotwives is one of three reality TV parodies produced by Paramount Digital Entertainment, which also brought Burning Love to Yahoo and Beef to on-demand platforms. As with the second season of Burning Love, round two of Hotwives will feature a mostly new cast of characters to fill the new setting. “Las Vegas was an obvious choice for the second season of the Hotwives franchise because it’s a city built on broken dreams, fake boobs and real magic,” said executive producer Paul Scheer, who also has a supporting role in the series. “Season 2 will focus on a new crop of wannabe socialites with some new faces as well as...

Angela Kinsey Talks The Hotwives Of Orlando, Wearing Enormous Fake Boobs, the Legacy of The Office, and More
The Hulu original series The Hotwives of Orlando is a hilarious and raunchy parody of one of the most popular franchises in reality television. It takes you inside the uber-exclusive and glamorous world of six hot housewives in the sexy city of Orlando, as they fight over pretty much everything, except for their love of shoes, plastic surgery and spending all of their husbands’ money. During this exclusive phone interview with Collider, actress Angela Kinsey talked about how she got involved with the show, that she had never seen a single episode of The Real Housewives before doing this (and that she never plans to watch again), why this show is so funny, even if you aren’t a fan of reality TV, finding the right enormous boobs for her character,...

'The Hotwives of Orlando' Pick Favorite Women in Pop Culture
Casey Wilson
Hulu's seven-episode series "The Hotwives of Orlando" lampoons Bravo's "Real Housewives" franchises in exactly the right ways: The catchphrases, the melodrama, the sham marriages, and the frightening fights are all parodied with very close attention to detail. Creators Dannah Phirman and Danielle Schneider have a cast of game ladies in their Florida-set series, including Schneider herself (who plays Shauna Maducci, the "bankrupt overspender"), "Happy Endings"/"SNL" vet Casey Wilson as trophy wife Tawny St. John, Tymberlee Hill as Phenomenon "Phe Phe" Reed, Andrea Savage as cougar Veronica Von Vandervon, Angela Kinsey of "The Office" as religious zealot Crystal Simmons, and "30 Rock" vet Kristen Schaal as drug-addled former child star Amanda Simmons.  HitFix caught a few minutes to interview Wilson, Hill, Savage, Schneider, and Phirman. Instead of asking them to name their favorite "Housewives" franchise or terrifying dream about Andy Cohen, we asked them to pick their favorite ladies from famous pop culture groups.

Hulu’s ‘The Hotwives Of Orlando’ Is Great, But Will It Draw Viewers?
Hulu has its Burning Love. The premium online video platform has released The Hotwives of Orlando, a seven-episode series that smartly pokes fun at Bravo's Real Housewives series. Much like Burning Love (which won Yahoo plenty of critical acclaim upon its release in 2012), The Hotwives of Orlando is a loving parody of its source material. Creators Dannah Phirman and Danielle Schneider have clearly done their research, since each character in their series parodies specific cast members from the show's various iterations. Real Housewives fans should love The Hotwives of Orlando most of all. For the rest of us, there is still plenty to enjoy. The Hotwives of Orlando's legitimately funny writing and acute genre awareness is buttressed by a strong cast. Familiar faces like Casey Wilson, Angela Kinsey, and Kristen Schaal all have leading roles, while supporting actors and guest stars add to each episode. Paul Scheer steals the...

Oh My God (2004)
Angela Kinsey talks 'Office' memories and new, 'Housewives'-spoofing show
Oh My God (2004)
For nine years, Angela Kinsey played television’s favorite high-strung, cat-loving accountant, Angela Martin, on The Office. And though she, Kevin (Brian Baumgartner), and Oscar (Oscar Nunez) may have butted heads on the show, in real life, she and the men of Dunder Mifflin’s accounting department share a real bond.

“The accounting corner was a little world within a world,” Kinsey tells EW. “I remember Steve Carell would walk over and be like, ‘What’s happening over here, guys? What were your weekends like?’ because we were just this isolated corner. We became very close. I love those fellas.

Spike TV drinks up 'Players' comedy
Spike TV is buying the next round.

The cable network has given the green light to "Players," a half-hour comedy set at a sports bar. It was created by Matt Walsh, one of the founders of the improv troupe Upright Citizens Brigade.

The original series, from Principato Young, revolves around a pair of brothers with opposite personalities trying to run their bar.

Production begins this month in Los Angeles, with the series slated to premiere in the summer.

Walsh also co-stars in "Players" as Bruce, a free spirit living out his fantasy by owning a sports bar, which gives him the opportunity to bet on games and hit on waitresses. His brother, Ken (Ian Roberts), meanwhile, tries to keep his eye on turning a profit.

The cast includes Danielle Schneider and James Pumphery.

Walsh, Roberts and Jay Martel executive produce with Peter Principato, Paul Young, Tucker Voorhees and John Lynch of Devlin Entertainment.
