One of the most popular science fiction shows on Netflix, a show which seemingly ended back in 2023, is apparently “not dead yet,” according to its creator. The streamer has become infamous for quickly and unceremoniously dropping the cancellation axe on TV shows before they get a chance to really find an audience. Hollywood has seen plenty of child stars come and go, their talents spent on any number of teen sitcoms and romantic comedies before life -- and in many cases tragedy -- pulled them in a different direction. But few if any were as remarkable in their genuine comedic talent as Amanda Bynes, the former Nickelodeon star who disappeared from Hollywood just as she was crossing into a career as a mainstream film actor.

Bynes cut her teeth as a stand-up comic at a very young age before joining the Nick family, frequently working with Dan Schneider, the infamous writer, creator, and mega-producer responsible for a massive portion of the network's success -- he's also the subject of all of Nickelodeon's most harrowing allegations of misconduct and abuse. After working on several projects with Schneider, Bynes appeared in a few movies outside his direct sphere of influence before taking a step back from the entertainment industry.

With a standout cast led by Josh Dallas and Melissa Roxburgh, "Manifest" was a frankly baffling TV series that wrapped a biblical fable in the trappings of "Lost." Originally airing on NBC, it was canceled in 2021 -- a year in which Netflix released some of its best series. The streamer rescued "Manifest" and allowed it to finish its story in a wild and explosive fashion.

For those of us still feeling burned by the series finale, there are plenty of shows like "Manifest" you can stream right now. For everyone else, we've finally gotten around to explaining its rapturous ending.

What You Need To Remember About The Plot Of Manifest

"Manifest" is a supernatural mystery drama about a group of people who are essentially teleported five years into the future as a consequence of some unexplained paranormal phenomenon that occurred during a commercial flight.

Although "Manifest" never became the huge success that "Lost" was in the 2000s, it did at least outperform most of those other shows commonly accused of copying the "Lost" formula. The plane-related mystery box show lasted four seasons — four and a half, really — and it got to end on its own terms. That's a privilege that poor "Flash Forward" (canceled one season into a planned 3-to-5 season run) never got to enjoy.

Among the show's many "Lost" parallels is the character Zeke Landon (Matt Long), who is sort of like Desmond Humes in that he wasn't involved in the show's inciting incident. Like Desmond, Zeke was introduced late and quickly turned out to be both super important and thrown into the show's most interesting romantic storyline. Sure, Zeke never quite got an episode as strong as Desmond's "The Constant," but it was still fun to have him around.

It remains uncertain if and when there will be a new Ghost Rider movie set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. For now, fans can revisit the past two films featuring Nicolas Cage in the lead role.

Starting on Nov. 1, both of Cage's Ghost Rider movies will start streaming alongside one another on Hulu. The movies getting a new streaming home comes months after fans of Cage's Johnny Blaze were left disappointed after the character did not make a special appearance in Deadpool & Wolverine. While Deadpool & Wolverine brought in big names from past Marvel movies, like Wesley Snipes' Blade and Jennifer Garner's Elektra, Ghost Rider was left out in the cold. Ryan Reynolds confirmed that Ghost Rider appearing was considered at the start of production, but he didn't specify if Cage was actually approached or why the cameo didn't end up happening.

Tracker Season 2 is premiering in less than a month. However, CBS has already been sharing some teasers about this upcoming season of the Justin Hartley-led series. This includes a new character that is part of Colter Shaw’s past.

Who is joining the series?

On Monday, TV Line announced that new Grey’s Anatomy addition, Floriana Lima, has joined Tracker in a recurring role. Already, she has been briefly seen in the trailer kissing Justin Hartley’s Colter Shaw. Therefore, fans of the series already know that the two have an intimate connection. What is her role?

Firstly, Lima is portraying Camille Picket. “Haunted, attractive…Camille has been Colter’s off-and-on lover for at least the past 10 years.”

They also shared some back story.

Tracker season 2 will welcome a new character, as Colter's girlfriend has been cast. The new hit drama, based on The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver, is returning for its second installment in a few weeks. While it's confirmed that Jensen Ackles and Melissa Roxburgh will be back as the siblings of Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) in Tracker season 2, the upcoming episodes will also introduce someone else from Colter's past.

Ahead of the Tracker season 2's debut on Sunday, October 13 at 8 Pm Et on CBS, TVLine confirms that Supergirl alum Floriana Lima has been cast as Camille Picket. With the arrival of The Fantastic Four, The Silver Surfer, Blade, and the X-Men, it feels like all of the major Marvel heroes will be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe. When it comes to the feminist themes of "Mad Men," it's typically Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) at the front of the conversation. The creator of the supernatural drama, Jeff Rake, just posted an interesting update via social media recently, which further sent excited loyal followers into a frenzy. Though it wasn't confirmed yet, Rake said discussions for a spinoff are very active.

Jensen Ackles' performance as Dean Winchster in Supernatural and Soldier Boy in The Boys make him a good fit for Johnny Blaze or Danny Ketch. Ackles has expressed his interest in playing Batman, but he could instead join the McU's Midnight Sons team as Ghost Rider.

A fan-made concept trailer for the McU's Ghost Rider shows what Jensen Ackles would look like as the Spirit of Vengeance. After Nicolas Cage's two live-action appearances in 2007's Ghost Rider movie and its 2011 sequel, Ghost Rider only appeared in Agents of Shield, this time embodied by Gabriel Luna's Robbie Reyes instead of Johnny Blaze. But since Agents of Shield hasn't been fully integrated into the McU's main timeline, the Avengers' home universe doesn't have its own Ghost Rider variant yet.

Manifest was always a show that generated more questions than answers to its central mysteries. The passengers of Flight 828 were plagued by the looming question of what truly happened to them on the flight. However, one mystery haunting fans had nothing to do with Flight 828 itself. Michaela Stone's (Melissa Roxburgh) love life was an infuriating central mystery throughout the show's run.

Michaela's two main love interests were Jared Vasquez (J.R. Ramirez) and Zeke Landon (Matt Long). The love triangle between these three characters was one terrible plot line that should have ended when Michaela married Zeke in the third season. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case and Michaela's feelings for Jared lingered. In the fourth season, the sordid love triangle temporarily met a tragic conclusion, only to be a happy one in the definitive end.

This week on Apple TV+’s Hijack, Sam investigated a passenger’s disarming theory about the hijackers, while those on the ground started to take the airborne crisis seriously — and even round up some suspects.

The bulk of Episode 3’s drama was set in motion by Yussuf, the man seated behind Sam. Though Yussuf’s wife tried to hush him, Sam and Hugo (his redhead neighbor) learned that Yussuf suspects the hijackers’ guns are “fake” — meaning, loaded with blanks — based on his 30 years of experience with the Egyptian military.

Despite this, that still leaves plenty of room for relationships on Manifest, from the semi-love triangle between Zeke (Matt Long), Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh), and Jared (Jr Ramirez) to the romance between Olive (Luna Blaise) and passenger Tj (Garrett Wareing). The supernatural drama even takes a brief moment to explore fan favorites Ben (Josh Dallas) and Saanvi (Parveen Kaur), though considering the series finale, in hindsight, this wasn't a great narrative choice.

Flight 828 and Manifest have ended their journey on Netflix, but a door was left open for a new mystery in a scene that viewers did not see. Josh Dallas, who played dad Ben Stone in the series, spoke about the possibility of the Manifest story continuing in some way.

Angelina’s hanging out among unhoused families as Netflix’s Manifest season four episode 12 begins. She’s made friends with a young girl and shows off her scarred hand, explaining it’s so special that God even made it glow just yesterday.

Angelina (Holly Taylor) believes God needs her to prepare for the day of judgment.

Ben’s dad, Steve, helps fix a sink while Cal (Ty Doran) watches. Cal’s sorry Steve had to go back to work to help support them, and he hates that he can’t get a job for fear of being discovered. Steve assures him it’s okay and that he needs to keep being careful.

Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) is having a horrible day, and a visit from Zeke (from the glow) is the only thing that brightens up her mood.

Manifest concludes its four-season run with the release of season four part two on June 2, 2023. Part one wrapped up with episode 10, “Inversion Illusion,” which found Zeke sacrificing his life to save Cal.

The missing-plane drama Manifest has had a hell of a ride. First came the now infamous cancellation by NBC, followed by months of uncertainty over the show’s remaining two seasons and then culminating in a last-minute, 20-episode order from Netflix. The second half of the abbreviated final season will hit the streamer June 2 — right in the middle of the WGA strike that prohibits its prolific writer-showrunner, Jeff Rake, from promoting the series.

New episodes of Manifest are coming to Netflix next month, and the streaming service has released a trailer and poster teasing the series' final 10 installments.

The drama ran for three seasons and 42 episodes on NBC before being cancelled in 2021. The series performed very well on Netflix, so (after initially passing) the service revived Manifest for a fourth and final season of 20 episodes. The first half of season four was released in November.

Starring Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long, Holly Taylor, Daryl Edwards, and Ty Doran, the Manifest series follows the survivors of a plane disappearance who return mysteriously after five years. The trailer for the final episodes of Netflix’s “Manifest” has arrived.

The intense clip, packed with high-stakes and emotions, sees the survivors of flight 828 finally reach the end of the tortured, life-changing journey they embarked on the moment the turbulent flight landed and the world aged five years.

“It is my duty to bring on the end of times,” Angelina (Holly Taylor) says in the trailer, to which Olive (Luna Blaise) says: “Just find Angelina and stop her.”

Zeke’s return is a lore-changing twist for Manifest season 4, part 2. Played by Matt Long, Zeke lost his life in the Manifest season 4, part 1 finale. However, the trailer for the show’s final episodes confirm the character’s time on the show hasn’t ended. He’ll be back, and as the footage reveals, it won’t be through a flashback.

Since the second half of season 1, Zeke has played a crucial role in the journey of the Flight 828 passengers. Even after beating his own Death Date in the season 2 finale, Zeke continued to be vital to the story. He proved his importance to their destiny in the Manifest season 4, part 1 finale when he made the ultimate sacrifice to save Cal. This moment seemingly completed his arc. However, it appears the show still has room for him. The Manifest season 4, part 2 trailer revealed a scene where Zeke communicates with Michaela in a mystery location.

On Thursday, Netflix went public with the official trailer for the second half of Manifest Season 4, and it's a lot to process.
