Ezra Moreland

Ezra Moreland was born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, alongside his three brothers and three sisters. One of his family's most cherished traditions growing up was sleeping on a pallet around the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve, then waking up together to make cinnamon rolls, drink coffee, and open gifts. His love for Christmas runs so deep that he often tears up whenever he can spend the holiday at home, feeling incredibly blessed to be surrounded by loved ones.

Moreland started playing football and swimming competitively at the age of six, continuing through high school. Afterward, he joined the U.S. Navy as a rescue swimmer, an experience that allowed him to travel the world. During his time in the Navy, he learned many valuable life lessons that still resonate with him today, particularly the importance of family and maintaining a sense of "home" no matter where he is. He keeps close ties with his family, often reading the same book as his dad and discussing it over FaceTime, or listening to the music his siblings enjoy, staying as connected to them as possible.

After six years in the Navy, Moreland transitioned to a new chapter, moving to Miami to pursue a career as a print and commercial model. With modeling representation in New York City, Nashville, Denver, and Los Angeles, he eventually settled in San Diego, where he lives with his brother, Jet. "Finding Mr. Christmas" marks his first foray into television, as he has no prior acting experience or formal training.

Some fun facts about Moreland: His favorite meal is oatmeal paired with a French press of coffee, and he prides himself on making the best espresso martini. Staying active is a priority, and he exercises almost every day. His favorite activities include hiking, long boarding or rollerblading, playing frisbee at the beach, sand volleyball, football with his brothers, bike rides with his sister Barbara, and taking long walks in new areas.

Moreland is an avid Rubik's cube enthusiast, owning seven different kinds. He also loves playing chess, reading before bed, and journaling every day. He aspires to build a library as impressive as his dad's. A puzzle lover, he enjoys completing puzzles of scenic landscapes and often frames and hangs them in his apartment. His grandma, Shirley, is one of his best friends, and catching up with her over coffee or phone calls always brightens his day. He also admires his mom, who earned an IFBB Pro card as a natural bodybuilder after raising seven children-a testament to her strength and discipline.

One of Moreland's favorite pastimes is sitting in a cozy café with a hot coffee, a good book, or his journal, especially in a new town or city.
