One reliable aspect of a Destroyer album is that it will mark a change in style from the Canadian band’s previous release. But regardless of the genre or genres—glam rock, country, synth-pop, and more—that the group dabbles in, another constant in its music is frontman Daniel Bejar’s patented sardonic worldview.
Destroyer’s 14th studio album, Dan’s Boogie, reportedly ended a period of writer’s block for the singer-songwriter, and the songs here sound like they were conceived in a jam session. Bejar, who forced himself to sit down at the piano and play for an hour a day, freestyled the lyrics to tracks like “Hydroplaning Off the Edge of the World,” improvising his vocals in one take.
Throughout Dan’s Boogie, the range of genres is complemented by lush production and creeping dissonance. “The Ignoramus of Love” flirts with country, while the backing vocals of...

Big Brother alum Mike “Boogie” Malin has reportedly been arrested again.
This time, Malin was arrested for allegedly shoplifting at a Cvs pharmacy.
The Burbank Police Department stated that Malin was arrested on January 29.
According to a report from TMZ, officers were sent to multiple Cvs Pharmacy locations in the San Fernando Valley after an incident at one location.
A Cvs employee reportedly told the police that he confronted Malin outside one store and told him to pay for items he had allegedly stolen.
TMZ reported that Malin allegedly returned to the store and placed items on the ground before driving away.
The department is said to have then dispatched officers to other Cvs stores, knowing that suspects often try to shoplift at multiple locations of the same store.
Malin’s unoccupied vehicle was then reportedly found running outside another Cvs, where he was accused of stealing alcohol and energy drinks.

This article contains major spoilers for the Jujutsu Kaisen manga
Power scaling arguments are often not a true reflection of any characters strength or capabilities, especially with factors like luck and coincidence thrown into the mix. This is even more true in Jujutsu Kaisen, where a sorcerers creativity with jujutsu concepts matters more than an arbitrary ranking of strength. Possession of cursed tools, knowledge of barrier creation, and even hand-to-hand combat expertise all influence any particular battles outcome to some degree.
That said, there are still some cursed techniques that stand head and shoulders above the others in Jjk. In fact, some of them are so powerful that they guarantee victory for their wielders in the vast majority of circumstances. These outliers in Jujutsu Kaisen typically meet the Special Grade requirement of being able to take over an entire country on their own when applied correctly.

Todo uses a Vibraslap to enhance Boogie Woogie & helps Yuta kill Kenjaku in Jujutsu Kaisen #260. Chapter #243 reveals Todo's involvement in swapping Yuta & foreshadows his critical role. Kenjaku's defeat was carefully planned with Todo's assistance, showing depth in the story.
Jujutsu Kaisen's final battle against Sukuna has had a lot of important developments in recent chapters. One of the biggest surprises was the return of Jujutsu Kaisen's fan-favorite character, Yujis older brother and best friend, Aoi Todo in chapter #259, who had been missing since Shibuyas incident, with his last contribution in the story being helping defeat Mahito, but at the cost of losing his left hand. Todos curse technique, Boogie Woogie, required him to clap his hands to swap peoples places, so after severing his own hand, it was implicit that he couldnt use his Ct anymore.
