He has been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, and is very involved in Asperger issues, arranging meetings and activities, writing, informing and lecturing. This is his major activity in recent years, besides being an avid genealogist. More than ten year has now passed since his last acting efforts (the second participation in
Jonson & Pipen (2006) in 2012).
He had a myocardial infarction January 10, 2016, the same day
David Bowie passed away, and he got an offer to participate as an extra in the tv production
Selmas saga (2016) while he was still recovering, thus having to decline.
