Gürkan Uygun

Gürkan Uygun (May 27, 1974, Izmit) is a Turkish theater, serial and film actor. He met the theater in high school years. In 1990, he started amateur theater. Then he studied at the Dormen Theater. In 1996 he began to take part in television series. He played in Yildiz Tilbe's Vazgeçtim music video. He is best known for his role as a Memati in the Valley of the Wolves. For 10 years on TV series Kurtlar Vadisi Pusu, he played the character of Memati. Later, he played Mimar Sinan character in Magnificent Century series for several episodes. Between 2013-2015, in the Kaçak TV series he played the character of Serhat Hakeri.
