Cinematographer Vladimir Van Maule was born in Prague in the Czech Republic. Van Maule moved to America at age seventeen in 1969 and was educated at the School of Art Institute in Chicago, Illinois. Vladimir opened up his own studio Filmontage Productions in 1974 and shot his first feature film in the early 1980's. Moreover, Van Maule has not only shot documentaries and TV commercials, but also has done film projects in Europe, Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, and North and South America.
