Gregory Hoyt(I)

Actor, improviser, and producer Gregory Hoyt is best known for his starring role in the Samuel Adams "Your Cousin From Boston" commercial campaign. After years of honing his improvisational skills, he created a character that evolved into the beloved Cousin when the campaign launched in 2019.

Originally from Amesbury, Massachusetts, Hoyt has crafted a distinguished career in television, film, and theater. His recent credits include portraying the crass supercomputer Mentor in Mike Myers' "The Pentaverate," appearing alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Clint Eastwood's "J. Edgar," and in "Rampage" with Dwayne The Rock Johnson. A seasoned improviser trained at The Groundlings and UCB, Hoyt has performed over 1,000 shows across the country. He has also appeared in hundreds of national commercials and over a dozen Super Bowl spots.
