Murder in a Small Town Season 1 Episode 3 Review: A Chill Rain
Image
It’s the episode we’ve all been waiting for — Stana Katic guest-starred as a cunning psychopath on Murder in a Small Town.

Murder in a Small Town Season 1 Episode 3 focused more on the case than Karl and Cassandra’s romance, partly because of having such a big-name actor.

Only pieces of their romantic relationship were shown this time, but the series dropped hints into Karl and Sid’s lives instead.

( Kailey Schwerman/ Fox) Which Sibling is More Psychotic?

I’m unsure who would win if the Strachan siblings had a contest to determine who was more psychotic. Zoe (Stana Katic) would probably win, but Benjamin (Ben Cotton) came close.

Murder in a Small Town has overdone these dueling sibling scenes in which one of them owes thugs money these past few episodes. It’s only interesting for so long.

Murder in a Small Town Season 1 Episode 3 Spoilers: Stana Katic Guest Stars
Image
It’s the episode we’ve all been waiting for.

Stana Katic guest stars in Murder in a Small Town Season 1 Episode 3 as Zoe Strachan, a femme fatale.

From what we’ve seen, Katic will impress viewers with her layered performance. Within minutes, she goes from fearing for her life to being a lead suspect.

( Kailey Schwerman/Fox)

Murder in a Small Town features a different case weekly with different guest stars, but this is one of the biggest advertised ones, featuring Stana Katic, who has been in multiple promos.

Most of the new photos and the promo feature Zoe (Stana Katic), so most of the spoilers and speculation will be case-centered, though I have a few theories about Karl and Cassandra, too.

A Different Family Means More Family Drama and Secrets

Murder in a Small Town excels at family drama, and Episode 3 is no exception.

Benjamin Strachan (Ben Cotton...

Tahmoh Penikett and Diane Neal in Circle of Deception (2021)
Circle of Deception Sneak Peek: Sometimes Murder Doesn't Pay!
Tahmoh Penikett and Diane Neal in Circle of Deception (2021)
Nothing is worse than when crime doesn't pay off, especially when that crime is murder.

On Saturday, March 6, Lifetime continues its Ripped from the Headlines series with Circle of Deception. It's an Ann Rule inspired thriller starring none other than Law & Order: Svu's finest, Diane Neal.

It also serves as the directorial debut of Lifetime veteran actress Ashley Williams. Lifetime is always a network whose focus is on uplifting women and giving them opportunities.

During this Women's History Month, it's lovely to see that they're as passionate about helping women expand their worlds beyond the camera as they are in front of it.

If you previously missed the Circe of Deception Promo, then you should know that this is a wonderfully twisted true-crime tale of a scandalous murder that takes place in a small Rhode Island community that changed everything.

Neal stars as a former Beauty Queen, Peggy Sue, the...

Circle of Deception Promo: Diane Neal Thrills as a Deadly Schemer!
Ann Rule
If you combine Lifetime, Ann Rule, and the esteemed Diane Neal, you get another ripped from the headlines thriller that will have you on the edge of your seats.

Circle of Deception is the latest Ann Rule true crime inspired piece to make it to the small screen, and as fans of the books and the Lifetime films know, they're among the strongest of the Ripped from the Headlines series.

And much like Lifetime actress Robin Givens helmed Ann Rule's A Murder to Remember, this time around, it's another network veteran, Ashley Williams, making her directorial debut.

From the promos, the standout of the film is Law & Order Svu's Diane Neal. She stars as a former Beauty Queen who orchestrates a murderous scheme.

The film is about a small island community that is rocked by the mysterious death of Russel Douglas, played by Paul McGillion, the day after Christmas.

The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)
Hey Mean Girls Fans: Did You Catch This Iconic Character in The Haunting of Bly Manor?
The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020)
"She doesn't even go here!" Did you find yourself doing a double-take while watching Netflix's The Haunting of Bly Manor? You're not alone. During the chilling new series, a follow-up to The Haunting of Hill House, a familiar face can be seen on the screen: Jill Morrison. While you might not know her by name, Mean Girls fans might remember the actress as "crying girl" from the beloved 2004 film. In the movie, starring Lindsay Lohan and Tina Fey, Morrison was featured in the scene where North Shore High juniors had to write apologies. "I just wish we could all get along like we used to in middle school," Morrison's character told the crowd of students. "I wish that I...

It's A Wonderful Lifetime's 2020 Lineup: Bringing the Holiday Joy Early!
Kelly Rowland
We can all agree that 2020 is definitely getting coal in its stocking.

Fortunately, Lifetime is playing Santa and gifting us with a star-studded, wholesome, inclusive, and highly-anticipated slew of Christmas films. Let's face it, we can take all the cheesy, teeth-achingly sweet, warm, and fuzzy goodness we can get.

Lifetime's Christmas lineup is the gift that keeps on giving with sequels, Lifetime Christmas queens, legends and icons, and some of our favorite faces.

We're talking Kelly Rowland, Kyla Pratt, and Fran Drescher. We have Mario Lopez, Vanessa Lachey, Aaron Ashmore, and Gilles Marini. Oh, and there's Marie Osmond, a Tiffany Haddish directed film, Jason Priestley, and Melissa Joan Hart.

Seriously, the casting alone is all holiday cheers and no jeers.

And the best part is we can kickstart all the fun early, since according to EW, the first film of the lineup, Christmas on Ice, will air on October. 23.

Yeah,...

Smallville: Homecoming 200th Episode Q&A
James Marsters as Brainiac and Tom Welling as Clark Kent As the long running and popular CW series Smallville, based on the iconic DC Comics character Superman, slowly comes to the end of its tenth and final season, we are beginning to see the Clark we've grown to know transform into the man that he has always been destined to become. So far this season, we've already seen Clark receive the classic red and blue suit from Lois. It's actually the costume from Superman Returns. But unfortunately, it was quickly taken away by Jor-El, who has locked it in the Fortress of Solitude until Clark earns it. We've also seen the introduction of the villain Darkseid, as well as Rick Flag and the Suicide Squad, while other DC heroes like Blue Beetle and Booster Gold will be popping up before the series ends. Last week saw the return of Supergirl,...
