New Trailer for Cell 213 Horror Film
Today we have a brand new trailer for the Canadian horror film "Cell 213," starring Eric Balfour (Skyline), Michael Rooker (Cliffhanger, Days of Thunder), Deborah Valente (Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek). Check it out below. Plot: Cell 213 becomes home to Michael Gray a cocky young attorney, after being framed for the murder of an incarcerated client. Unnatural forces are causing prisoners to kill themselves at abnormal rates and Michael soon discovers that matters of guilt and innocence are not as cut and dry as he would like to believe trapped in this nightmarish cell. The new movie is directed by Stephen Kay (The Craigslist Killer) and is set to hit Canadian theaters on June 10th before coming to the Us in July. Trailer: If you cannot see the player, click here.

Step Inside Cell 213 - New Trailer and More!
Several days ago we brought you a quick look at the Canadian horror flick Cell 213. Now through the magic of the interwebs we've gotten our claws into the official trailer and more! Yay technology!

The film stars Bruce Greenwood (Disturbing Behavior), Eric Balfour (Texas Chainsaw Massacre the remake, Skyline), Michael Rooker (Henry), and Deborah Valente (Resident Evil: Apocalypse).

Cell 213 TV Spot Escapes From Canada
It was over a year ago when we first reported that Freestyle Releasing had nabbed U.S. theatrical distribution rights for upcoming horror flick Cell 213, but we've yet to see it. There is a Canadian TV spot floating around, however, and we've got it for you while we await our Stateside opportunity to dig this one.

The film stars Bruce Greenwood (Disturbing Behavior), Eric Balfour (that lousy Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake), Michael Rooker (Henry), and Deborah Valente (Resident Evil: Apocalypse). The TV spot certainly has some promise, and Canadians can check this one out beginning on June 10.

For those of us in the Us, keep watching this space. We'll give it when we get it. And enjoy this quick look at a promising genre film in the meantime.

Prepare for a Supernatural Shocker in Cell 213's Solitary Confinement and Trailer
Your soul is in jeopardy June 10th, when Cell 213 releases in Canadian theatres. This is a prison thriller, which places actor Eric Balfour, as Michael Grey in a haunted prison cell. Will he be able to escape? Not if the devil can help it and now, the first television spot for Cell 213 is available for horror fans here, on 28Dla.

In the clip, Grey sees all types of horrific visions in a 6' x 8' concrete cage. Get set to see armageddon below and head to your local theatres this summer, to see actor Michael Rooker treating inmates very poorly.

Canadian TV Spot for Cell 213
Cinesavvy Inc. and Vagrant Films have released the first television spot for Stephen Kay's upcoming film Cell 213 , starring Eric Balfour, Michael Rooker, Deborah Valente and Bruce Greenwood. Besides directing episodes of Sons of Anarchy over the last few years, Kay previously helmed Boogeyman for Ghost House Pictures and Get Carter with Sylvester Stallone. His latest opens in Canada on June 10. No word yet on a U.S. release. Synopsis: God and the Devil have been fighting for souls since mankind first laid foot on earth. Freestyle Visits Cell 213
Freestyle Releasing has nabbed U.S. theatrical distribution rights for upcoming horror flick Cell 213, the supernatural morality play directed by Boogeyman’s Stephen T. Kay.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that Freestyle is looking to give the film, in which God and the Devil battle for the soul of a successful young lawyer, a North American theatrical release sometime this fall.

The film stars Bruce Greenwood (Disturbing Behavior), Eric Balfour (that lousy Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake), Michael Rooker (Henry), and Deborah Valente (Resident Evil: Apocalypse).

Texas Chainsaw Star Takes Residence in 'Cell 213'
We broke the news back in July that Stephen Kay, director of Sony Screen Gems' 2005 horror film Boogeyman, would return to help another thriller entitled Cell 213. Today we scored the first official casting news for the film, which is currently lensing in Toronto, Canada. Read on to see which Chainsaw star will head behind bars. Eric Balfour (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Hell Ride) has arrived on set from Bucharest to play lead in Stephen T Kay directed Cell 213. Michael Rooker (Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer, Slither) and Canadian talent Deborah Valente (Resident Evil: Apocalypse) will play alongside Balfour who is best known for his role in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003). Written by Maninder Chana, principal photography began two weeks ago on the spine-chilling prison horror in Southern Ontario.
