According to reports from TMZ, the latest turn of events has been unfortunate for him as well as Hr head Kristin Cabot, as both are reported to have been suspended. This comes in the wake of their alleged affair getting exposed when the two were snapped getting pretty cozy with a hug on the ‘Kiss Cam’ at a recent Coldplay concert.

While the CEO and Head of Hr are currently being speculated to be guilty of a workplace affair, what’s shocking is that Byron is still married to Megan Kerrigan Byron and has children. Kerrigan works as an Associate Director of Lower School and the Hope of Graham Program admissions at the Bancroft School in Massachusetts.

Matthew Modine is attached as an executive producer on a new documentary series exploring the life and career of Scottish filmmaker Michael Caton-Jones. The project, Michael Caton-Jones: This Broxburn Boy’s Life, will trace the director’s path from his upbringing in the working-class town of Broxburn, near Edinburgh, to a prominent career in Hollywood.

The series is a collaboration between Modine and Adam Rackoff’s Cinco Dedos Peliculas and Scottish production companies Two Rivers Media and Partickular Films. It is currently in development without a confirmed distributor.

Caton-Jones is widely known for directing This Boy’s Life, which starred Robert De Niro and introduced Leonardo DiCaprio in a breakout role. His filmography also includes Scandal, Doc Hollywood, and Rob Roy. He is currently working on Eternity, a feature led by King Orba and Rachel Robinson-Zetzer.

Streaming has given many films a second chance, especially those that didn't make a profit at the box office or didn't get a release at all. Laura Dern's crime drama is among them.

In 2018, Dern starred in Blood Diamonds' Edward Zwick's biographical crime drama Trial by Fire, which was recently released on Netflix. The film was based on Cameron Todd Willingham's real-life case, and used David Grann's 2009 The New York Times article "Trial by Fire" as a base. Now, the movie has found a second life on streaming and has become a hit on Netflix, Tudum reports.

Per THR, franchise star Sam Waterston has announced his exit from the Law & Order revival series. His final episode as District Attorney Jack McCoy will be airing on NBC on Feb. 22, 2024. Also revealed is Waterston's replacement, as Tony Goldwyn will be coming in to play the new D.A. of Manhattan. Details about Goldwyn's character have not yet been disclosed and it remains to be seen how he will be written into the series. Goldwyn previously worked for the show as a director in 2006.

Sam Waterston, who has been part of the NBC drama since 1994, is leaving the show. His final episode as Manhattan District Attorney Jack McCoy is set to air Feb. 22. Tony Goldwyn (Scandal, Oppenheimer) will then join Law & Order as the new Da.

The 83-year-old Waterston joined L&o at the beginning of its fifth season. He’ll depart partway through his 19th season on the series, having appeared in more than 400 episodes as McCoy, who began on the series as an assistant district attorney. The character was appointed interim Da in season 17 and was revealed to have won the elected position of district attorney in the 20th and final season of the show’s original 1990-2010 run. Waterston reprised the character when NBC revived Law & Order in 2022, serving as a link to the original show.

The network announced today a new, original made-for-television movie The Waltons' Thanksgiving will debut in the fourth quarter 2022.

An exact air date and time will be announced later.

"The holiday spirit is in the air on Walton Mountain in 1934 as the Walton family eagerly prepares for the annual Harvest Festival Fair in town," reads the network's description.

And yet, here we are with Young Justice: Phantoms, where “I Know Why the Caged Cat Sings” spends most of its run time on infodumps that hint at a Much more interesting series of events and characters than the ones put on screen.

There are two highlights. It doesn’t take a lot to bring me back in, and Young Justice: Phantoms found the sweet spot this week with “Artemis Through the Looking Glass.” It turns out all they needed to do was toss me a couple of crumbs of Cassandra Cain content and everything would be better.

It helps that this week was actually animated. The story still feels rushed, but the kinetic energy of the show is back to its normal level. A huge chunk of the episode is dedicated to a fight between Black Spider (Young Justice’s Spectacular Spider-Man knockoff) and Rictus from the League of Shadows, and Tigress, Onyx, Scandal Savage, Orphan, and Cheshire on the other side. The Flash‘s upcoming alien enemy now has a face: Tony Curran (Your Honor, Defiance) has joined the CW drama’s five-part Season 8 premiere event, playing the role of the extraterrestrial being Despero.

The character is “a powerful and intelligent alien possessing incredible telepathic powers who left his homeworld — Kalanor — under mysterious circumstances,” our sister site Deadline reports. “Now he’s facing a deadly mission on Earth, one whose outcome will decide the fate of humankind and put him on a collision course with Team Flash.”

Lance Gross has been cast in Lee Daniels and Karin Gist’s series “Our Kind of People,” a drama headed to Fox on Tuesday nights this fall. The “Sleepy Hollow” regular joins previously announced cast members Yaya DaCosta (“Chicago Med”), Morris Chestnut (“The Resident”), Joe Morton (“Scandal”) LeToya Luckett and newcomer Alana Bright. Freeform has put the Puerto Rico-set Trap Queen in development with Danny Strong executive producing, I’ve learned. The music rich project from the American territory was created by Scandal and Roswell, New Mexico writer Miguel Nolla.

An alum of the Disney•ABC Writing Program, the San Juan-born Nolla will serve as showrunner on Trap Queen.

The drama focuses on a gay young man who returns to Puerto Rico after a life changing event. With the burgeoning local music scene as both the backdrop and the soundtrack, that move forces him to face family and romantic issues he thought he had left behind and never expected.

ABC announced Thursday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour that Spencer is joining the cast of forthcoming drama series Rebel.

Spencer will recur as Misha, “a brilliant cardiothoracic surgeon who has a painful romantic history with Nate (Fear the Walking Dead‘s Kevin Zegers), but can’t resist getting involved with studying the Stonemore heart valve for fear that she may have inadvertently harmed hundreds of patients,” reads the character description.

The series is inspired by the life of Erin Brockovich.

Annie ‘Rebel’ Bello (Sagal) is a blue-collar legal advocate without a law degree on the series.

She’s a funny, messy, brilliant and fearless woman who cares desperately about the causes she fights for and the people she loves.

National Geographic has lined up the next two stars of its The Hot Zone franchise.

National Geographic, with Scott Free Productions and 20th Television, announced today that Tony Goldwyn and Daniel Dae Kim will star in the next installment of the scripted anthology series The Hot Zone: Anthrax.

As previously announced, Kelly Souders and Brian Peterson will return as executive producers and showrunners, focusing this season’s limited series on the harrowing anthrax attacks of 2001.

Principal photography will begin this winter 2021 in Toronto.

In a timely limited series that depicts the plight and eventual triumph over a National threat, The Hot Zone: Anthrax takes place in 2001, just weeks after 9/11, where the United States was rocked by another deadly act of terrorism.

Letters containing anthrax were sent to unsuspecting victims in Florida, Washington, D.C., and New York. The anonymous assault claimed five lives and caused panic throughout the U.S.

When Daily Dead took part in a Locke & Key roundtable call earlier this year, co-showrunner (along with Carlton Cuse) Meredith Averill said that they have "...stories for a few seasons to come percolating in our brains...", and it looks like that statement is becoming a reality, because not only was the show renewed for a second season back in March, it's now been renewed for a third season by Netflix before the second season has even premiered.

Multiple outlets are reporting the renewal news, including The Hollywood Reporter, along with the announcement that Meredith Averill has signed a deal with Netflix for "TV and other projects."
