North Shore Animal League America Hosts Celebration Of Rescue

North Shore Animal League America, the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization, hosted a “Celebration of Rescue” on Friday, June 14 at the spectacular TriBeCa Rooftop under the stars, overlooking the shimmering lights of Lower Manhattan and the Hudson River.

This year’s event drew attendees from all sectors of New York’s animal-loving community and beyond, many of whom have adopted from North Shore Animal League America.

Animal lover/adopter and radio icon Maria Milito (NYC’s & I Heart Radio’s Q104.3) helmed the evening’s festivities as Host and North Shore Animal League America foster-parent, spokesperson, and Board Member Beth Stern served as the event’s Chairperson.

North Shore Animal League America, the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization, celebrated another year of animal rescue work at its annual Get Your Rescue On Gala on Friday, November 30th at Pier 60 At Chelsea Piers.

This year’s evening was the coolest party in town, drawing attendees from all sectors of New York’s animal-loving community and beyond. Impractical Jokers star Joe Gatto served as host for the evening’s festivities where iHeart radio legend Elvis Duran received the Crystal Collar Award and Corporate Honoree Tito’s Handmade Vodka was recognized. The gala’s grand finale was a phenomenal live performance by rock ‘n’ roll icon Joan Jett And The Blackhearts.
