Matt Bainbridge(I)

Matt Bainbridge started his career early, being employed as a sound engineer for various theatre, film and live music productions and, perhaps most notably, as a member of the stage crew at Sydney Opera House. Later on, Matt graduated from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts with a degree in Sound Technology. He took a position at Dreamhire, heading their Pro Tools division, and was subsequently taken on by Digidesign themselves as their Product Specialist. After a brief return to LIPA, where he used his industry experience to lecture on the course from which he graduated, Matt joined Yellow Technology, quickly rising through the ranks to Senior Consultant.

Again, Matt spends much of his time installing, maintaining and supporting systems. Matt's recent lecturing experience, along with his wide-ranging experience of various media technologies often makes him the first call for training requirements.

After leaving Yellow Technology in late 2009, Matt created "BlueCat Consultancy" in order to work with a vast array of performers, engineers, producers, studios, west end theatres, record and film companies. Recent notable clients include: Monty Python, Universal Production Music, Beyonce & Jay-Z (HBO, Paris show), Terry Gilliam (Zero Theorem & The Man Who Killed Don Quixote), Hadi Hajaig (Blue Iguana), Michael Palin, Kenneth Branagh (Murder on the Orient Express, Audiobook), Anthony Phillips (Genesis) plus many, many more.
