Tye has a history of acting in independent films, including features and university short film projects. He received a BFA in Film Studies in 2018 after returning from a long hiatus in order to complete his degree. Tye worked as a casting assistant in a local casting office for just over 5 years. Aside from acting and casting, Tye has produced 3 short films and helped sponsor several science fiction film projects.
