A four-disc deluxe edition of The History of Metal and Horror is now available for $49.99 directly from the filmmakers.

The set includes the feature-length documentary on Blu-ray, two bonus Blu-rays with over 20 hours of additional interview footage, a CD featuring the soundtrack by Knights of the Black, and an eight-page booklet, all packaged in an individually signed and numbered magnetic box.

The film also includes an audio commentary by writer-director-editor Mike Schiff and producer Robert L. Lucas along with a behind-the-scenes image gallery.

Hosted by Michael Berryman (The Hills Have Eyes), the doc explores the origins of heavy metal music, its deep-rooted connections to horror cinema, and its lasting cultural significance with over 60 interviews with icons from both worlds.

The seventh and final installment of the late George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead franchise is currently in the works, and we've just learned of some new cast additions to this upcoming zombie film.

The movie is titled Twilight of the Dead, and talented actresses Milla Jovovich and Betty Gabriel have been revealed to have joined the cast. Jovovich is best known for starring in the leading role of Alice in the action-horror film franchise Resident Evil. Her most recent role was playing Tess in the sci-fi thriller Breathe. Some of her next projects other than Twilight of the Dead are the upcoming movies In the Lost Lands, Midnight and World Breaker.

Gabriel, on the other hand, is known for portraying Georgina in the smash-hit psychological horror film Get Out. She also starred in many other horror films, such as The Purge: Election Year, Unfriended: Dark Web and It Lives Inside.

The legendary George A. Romero will bring us his final Zombie movie... from beyond the grave!

The filmmaker passed away in 2017 after a battle with lung cancer, but he had been working on a script for what was to be the conclusion of a saga that began all the way back in 1968 with low-budget classic, Night of the Living Dead.

Back in 2021, we got word that Twilight of the Dead was officially in the works with Brad Anderson set to direct, and the movie has now cast its leads.

Deadline reports that Milla Jovovich - who is no stranger to dealing with the undead after headlining the Resident Evil franchise - and Upgrade star Betty Gabriel have joined the project. No details on their roles were provided.

The creative team behind Blind (watch it Here, read my review at This Link) and its sequel Pretty Boy recently launched a production company called Neon Noir, and their first production is a giallo thriller called That’s a Wrap, starring Cerina Vincent of Cabin Fever. Their first production is That’s a Wrap, a giallo slasher that takes both clear inspiration from the works of Italian filmmakers like Mario Bava and Dario Argento – especially due to the fact that Walz and cinematographer Marcus Friedlander have soaked nearly every shot in colorful lighting – and from the Scream franchise, in that it’s a meta film where the characters work in the horror business.

Exclusive: Marcel Walz, Joe Knetter and Sarah French have announced their new production company, Neon Noir. The trio’s first venture under the banner is a new horror film starring genre staple Cerina Vincent.

That’s a Wrap is directed by Marcel Walz (Pretty Boy) and written by Joe Knetter & Robert L. Lucas (George A. Romero’s Twilight of the Dead).

The pic stars Cerina Vincent, Monique T. Parent (Cuck), Sarah French (Blind) and Gigi Gustin (Fast and Fierce: Death Race). It is executive produced by Wolfpack Entertainment and Mezek Films and was shot entirely at Wolfpack Studios in Burbank, California.
