Official Trailer for Action Movie 'Black Warrant' with Tom Berenger
Image
"You can't kill a DEA agent." "Everyone can be killed." Saban Films has revealed the official trailer for an intense action thriller titled Black Warrant, which is a direct reference to "black warrant" - a writ that specifically authorizes an execution, a warrant for someone to be taken out (instead of arrested). A former special ops assassin and a DEA agent cross paths on separate missions with the same goal – to stop a cyber terrorist organization that has built a dangerous machine threatening to attack the power grid. This is yet another of these ridiculous jingoistic films where only sneaky agents and guns can keep America safe. The action movie stars Tom Berenger as the main assassin, with Cam Gigandet, Jeff Fahey, Rodrigo Abed, Sara Seyed, Helena Haro, Jonathan Avigdori, and Joe Chacon. Another of these forgettable, don't-even-bother action films they're churning out every week. Only fun thing is watching Berenger as a hitman.

One Of the 14 Victims In The Austin, Texas Mass Shooting Has Died – 2nd Update
Image
Sunday Pm Update: One of the 14 people wounded during the early Saturday shooting in Austin, Texas 6th Street Entertainment District, a 25-year-old man, has died from his injuries, the Austin Police Department confirmed Sunday.

Sunday June 13 Am Update: Officials said one of the suspects arrested for the mass shooting early Saturday is a juvenile, which could complicate what the charges will be.

Officials are continuing to search for a second suspect in the shooting. It is not clear whether that person is also a juvenile.

Interim Police Chief Joe Chacon said the shooters could face a range of charges that include...

Friends of Scott Rudin’s Late Assistant Speak Out on Producer’s Abuses: ‘He Was So Terrified of That Man’
Image
In the wake of Kevin Graham-Caso’s suicide last October, his friends pored over his old emails, looking for answers. Klodiana Alia found one from 2009, when Graham-Caso was working as an assistant to producer Scott Rudin. At the time, Graham-Caso was looking for another job, and Rudin had gotten wind of it.

“He flipped out,” Graham-Caso wrote, “told me to lose his number and that I was dead to him and an enemy of his company and that he hopes I fail in life.”

In another email, he wrote: “I think the time at Rudin permanently fucked my nerves. I never used to get this worked up over stuff.”

Graham-Caso’s story is now at the center of a reckoning over the way assistants are treated in Hollywood. On Sunday night, his twin brother, David Graham-Caso, posted a two-minute video accusing Rudin of inflicting intense emotional abuse that led him to suffer anxiety and depression.
