Apple TV+ has announced the programming that will be added to the streaming service next month. The Apple TV Plus May 2025 lineup includes Bono: Stories of Surrender, Deaf President Now!, Fountain of Youth, Long Way Home, Lulu Is a Rhinoceros, and Murderbot.

Apple TV+ offers drama and comedy series, feature films, documentaries, and kids and family entertainment. It is available on the Apple TV app on the iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Apple Vision Pro, Mac, smart TVs from Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, Tcl, and others, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, Chromecast with Google TV, PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and at the Apple site.

Ewan McGregor’s follow-up to the Emmy-nominated Long Way Up has finally landed a premiere date on Apple TV+, half a decade after fans last saw McGregor and longtime buddy Charley Boorman embark on an epic roadventure using motorcycles. Titled Long Way Home, the sequel has also gotten an official trailer from the streamer, set for next month and which will see the duo journey close to home, from Scotland to England, via Scandinavia, the Arctic Circle and continental Europe.

“The Librarians: The Next Chapter” is launching on TNT with a two-night premiere event starting Sunday, May 25.

As a spin-off of the original “Librarians” series, “The Next Chapter” follows the time-traveling Vikram Chamberlain (Callum McGowan) who finds himself stuck in the present. The official synopsis reads: “When Vikram returns to his castle in Belgrade, Serbia and discovers that it is now a museum, he inadvertently releases magic across the continent. With the help of a new team of eclectic heroes, including a savant in world history, a scientific genius, and a highly skilled Guardian, Vikram has only six months to clean up the mess he made.”

The twelve-episode series features McGowan (“Jamestown”), Jessica Green (“The Outpost”), Olivia Morris (“Hotel Portofino”) and Bluey Robinson (“Britannia”), with Christian Kane reprising his role as Jacob Stone. Together again after their first two trips – Long Way Round and Long Way Down – McGregor and Boorman have mixed things up this time by deciding to do their newest trip on electric motorbikes which presented the duo with some amazing equipment but also proved to be a different challenge altogether, not least with trying to charge their new bikes in the middle of nowhere. Apple shared the first trailer for “Long Way Up,” the third entry in the “Long Way” series documenting the cross-country motorcycle rides of Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman.

“Long Way Up,” an 11-episode docuseries, reunites McGregor and Boorman for an expedition from the southern-most tip of Argentina up through Los Angeles. The trip covers 13,000 miles over 100 days entirely on electric Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

The first three episodes premiere on Apple TV+ on Friday, Sept. 18, with the rest of the series rolling out weekly thereafter.
