For weeks leading up to April 7th of this year, Jeff Jarrett teased a major announcement that would shake the foundation of the wrestling world. On that date, he delivered by announcing the founding and imminent debut of a new sports entertainment entity — Global Force Wrestling.
The promotion has yet to hold a show or announce any sort of television deal, but has announced numerous partnerships — a creative alliance with David Broome (the mind behind NBC’s “The Biggest Loser”), the involvement of Nascar’s Hermie Sadler, and talent exchange programs with both Aaa in Mexico and New Japan Pro Wrestling.
