On Saturday, a Pennsylvania judge granted a mistrial after the jury had announced that they were deadlocked for the second time in the trial of Bill Cosby.
The comedian is accused of drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, mansion in January 2004.
The Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, jury, which was brought in from Pittsburgh, deliberated for multiple days — returning to the judge multiple times with questions and requests. On Saturday, they announced that they were “hopelessly deadlocked.” The judge granted the mistrial. After the mistrial announcement, the District Attorney said they would retry the cast against Cosby.

Bill Cosby is going on the offensive with a new complaint filed in federal court on Wednesday. Cosby and his attorneys filed a complaint against his accuser, Andrea Constand; her mother, Gianna Constand; Andrea’s attorneys, Dolores Troiani and Bebe Kevitz; and American Media Inc., the parent company of The National Enquirer. In 2005, Andrea Constand sued Cosby for an alleged sexual assault at Cosby’s home in Pennsylvania. The complaint states that she and Cosby reached a settlement in that case in exchange for her signing the confidentiality agreement. Sex scenes in Hollywood films have been around since the inception of the movie theatre. It was only a matter of time before the folks in Hollywood decided that making movies about making movies about sex was a good idea. It’s essentially the perfect way to include all the T&A you want into your film without anybody ever questioning you.
On the flip side, these films also feature aspects of the adult film industry that not everybody would be privy to.

Lisa Edelstein will appear in a multi-episode story arc on the upcoming season of Castle, according to TVLine. She’ll play a Federal Investigator who works with Beckett as she debates taking that Washington DC job.
