Iris Ichishita oversees creative production and digital engagement at Mattel, producing video content for its world-class toy brands. Prior to that, she headed up production at Hallmark Movies Now, producing original live-action, documentary, and animated films for SVOD. She co-hosts the Or Whatever Movies podcast with her brother, Wesley Ichishita.
She holds a Masters in Fine Arts degree in Motion Picture Producing from the University of Southern California Peter Stark Producing Program. She joined the Producers Guild of America in 2011 and is serving her second term on the New Media Council Board of Delegates and her first term on the National Board.
Iris Ichishita is also a member of Women in Film, International Documentary Association, ASIFA (Animation Guild) - Hollywood, and the Television Academy. She is the former owner/operator of independent company Nothing New Productions, through which she produced feature films, web series, and short form content.
