Disney Princes: The Characters' 10 Most Impractical Outfits, Ranked
Image
Disney has introduced its fans to numerous princes throughout its history. More often than not, the stories revolve around their princess counterparts, putting them in the shadows. Many of them are simply remembered as "prince charming," mainly by their looks, not their style.

Their outfit choices can seem impractical given the situations they find themselves in. The Beast might not have needed to dress so lavishly around the house, Li Shang could've worn a shirt during training, and Prince Edward definitely needed a change of clothing to not stick out like a sore thumb.

Prince Phillip's Tunic And Tights

The dashing prince betrothed to Aurora dresses as a not-so-typical Disney prince in Sleeping Beauty. He wears a sleeveless grayish-tan tunic over a black turtleneck shirt, dark brown pants, and black boots. His red cape and hat tie the outfit together, bringing out his explorer side.

Every Way Disney’s Mulan Changed From The Original Legend
Image
The 1998 Disney adaptation of Mulan introduced many to the legend of Mulan, but there are significant changes between the Disney classic and the original legend. The 2020 live-action adaptation of Mulan is slightly closer to the original Chinese poem "The Ballad of Mulan." However, even with a conscious attempt to be closer to the legend, Mulan 2020 also alters from the source material. "The Ballad of Mulan" is the first known record of Hua Mulan and is dated back to 400 Ad. The poem most likely began through oral tradition and was passed down for a century before it was finally preserved in the written form during the Tang dynasty. All retellings of Mulan come from the original poem which details Hua Mulan disguising herself as...

Movie Review: The Resistance, a Chinese movie from 2011!
Chinese movies are very rare to find on worldwide DVD marketing, most of the time one finds Asian movies from Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan. But those Chinese movies that do come out to the world make a strong impact to the audience, for instance "Still Life", "Beijing Bicycle" and "Shanghai Triad". The Resistance made an impact with a different style of movie, a story plot from a samurai movie, but setting takes place during World War II. Directed by the 32nd generation shaolin monk Peng Zhang Li, who became a movie director and actor tells a story of revenge, genocide, and protection of a young peasant girl who must choose between death or resistance.  Story: In 1937, the Japanese imperial army launch an...
