You can watch it over on the YouTube channel linked above, or you can just watch it in the embed at the top of this article
Directed by David Mitchell, who crafted the screenplay with Francis Mitchell, John Mitchell, Brandon Tataryn, and Brad Wetherly, Shred 2 has the following synopsis: Max and Eddie are stoner snowboarders living the life of rock stars. This week’s Liars left us with the best cliffhanger yet, and the mysterious “A” stepped up his/her deadly game of cat-and-mouse with radio shout-outs and personal letters.
When we last left Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell), Spencer (Troian Avery Bellisino) and Aria (Lucy Hale), they were shell-shocked after reading a cryptic message left on Spencer’s bedroom mirror. This meant that “A” had actually been In Spencer’s house! Scary, right?
Aside from dealing with all the “A” drama, the girls had to cope with their own personal issues at home. Since the reveal of her father’s past affair, Aria finally got the chance to talk with her mom, Ella (Holly Marie Combs.) But her attempt to clear her conscious did more harm than good, as her dad (Chad Lowe) didn’t exactly divulge All the details about his secret tryst with then-student Meredith (Amber Borycki...

Chicago – I’m still a little miffed that the “Harper’s Island” experiment didn’t work out for CBS. The show was far from perfect, but I still like the idea of a limited series with a predetermined beginning, middle, and end. Sadly, no one tuned in to watch “Harper’s Island” on CBS but the guilty pleasure could have a second life on DVD.
DVD Rating: 3.5/5.0 Was “Harper’s Island” any good? It depends on what you mean by “good”. If you’re looking for witty dialogue, detailed character, and clever plotting, look elsewhere. But not every show needs to be intellectually satisfying. For the same reason we go see silly horror movies, sometimes you just want to enjoy a guilty pleasure and “Harper’s Island” was the guiltiest of 2009.
Elaine Cassidy plays Abby Mills, the heroine returning to the titular body of land after seven years. Back then,...

Saturday (June 13) was Ladies' Night on CBS' "Harper's Island," but not in that fun way that leads to half-priced drinks and wanton dancing. No, this week's episode saw two distaff members of the Bride's Party ruthlessly killed by The Harper's Island killer/killer, whoever he/she/they may be. First Amber Borycki's Beth, described in CBS' literature as The Single Girl, went off in search of Creepy Kid Madison and instead of turning up with the purloined child, was next seen bloody and vivisected in a Prohibition Era tunnel under the hotel. Then Claudette Mink's Katherine Wellington, The Stepmother and kinky paramour of...

Their numbers are dwindling… and so are the number of episodes left in this season of Harper's Island. Episode nine saw the death of "The Single Girl," Beth Barrington (played by Amber Borycki) and "The Step-Mom/Trophy Wife," Katherine Wellington (played by Claudette Mink). The two lovely ladies fill us in on their characters' lives and deaths. Note: After reading the following interview, be sure to check out a live chat with both of these Harper's Island stars. Were you surprised you lasted as long as you did, or did you think that you would go the distance? Claudette: I think I was hoping I would go the distance. Running around in the dark and...

Chicago – I’ve been looking forward to “Harper’s Island” for months. Last summer, CBS sent out a brief preview with some actors who would eventually be recast (including Bill Pullman) that laid out the general idea of this modern take on Agatha Christie’s “Ten Little Indians”. The concept of a 13-week mystery featuring beautiful people getting whacked week to week was definitely intriguing. Now that I’ve seen the premiere, the bubble has burst.
Television Rating: 2.5/5.0 I so desperately want to recommend “Harper’s Island” because I think there should be more programs between the mystery-of-the-week shows like “CSI” or “Bones” and the more complex shows like “Lost”. A 13-week mystery with a pre-set endpoint and solution is genius. The execution (pun intended) is another story.
