The widow of slain UCLA professor William Klug characterized her husband's shooting death as an "indescribable loss," and has asked for privacy as she continues to mourn his murder. "During this extremely difficult time for our family, we are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of support," Mary Elise Klug said in statement released by the University of California, Los Angeles, on Thursday. "Bill was so much more than my soulmate," the statement continues. "I will miss him every day for the rest of my life. Knowing that so many others share our family's sorrow has provided a measure of comfort.
