The Duchess of Sussex was joined by some of her friends while attending a performance of Gypsy on Thursday (April 10) at the Majestic Theatre in New York City.

Meghan attended the show with friends Nate Berkus, Jeremiah Brent (who recently joined the cast of Netflix’s Queer Eye), Tracy Robbins, Brian Robbins, and George Cheeks.

The Fab Five saw a bit of a shakeup for “Queer Eye” Season 9.

After eight seasons of impeccable interior design makeovers, Bobby Berk announced he would not return to the Netflix show in November 2023.

While many of his fans and castmates shared their love for Berk, some fans speculated he had been pushed out by fellow castmember, fashion expert Tan France, who denied that in no uncertain terms and also said Berk had been “fired.”

In a subsequent interview with Vanity Fair, Berk said that he left because their contract ended with Season 8 and he had already started looking ahead to other projects. He also said he was surprised that his co-stars changed their minds, saying “I can’t be mad — for a second I was.”

Interior designer and HGTV star Nate Berkus is reflecting on a somber anniversary — the abrupt death of his partner, photographer Fernando Bengoechea, in the devastating and horrific 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.

Anyone who has lost a romantic partner knows that major anniversaries can make the loss feel acutely recent, and December will mark 20 years since the shocking, unthinkable disaster killed more than 220,000 people.

Nate was not the only celebrity to endure the loss of a partner in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami — supermodel Petra Nemcova barely survived it, clinging to a tree with a broken pelvis for an unimaginable eight hours.

Like Nate, Petra was vacationing with boyfriend Simon Atlee (also a photographer) when the tsunami struck without warning, and she said everything "happened in split seconds."

The Queer Eye team is getting a new interior designer. Netflix has announced a replacement for Bobby Berk, who exited the makeover series after eight seasons. Berk announced his departure in November, with season eight airing in January.

Jeremiah Brent (above), the husband and frequent co-host of interior designer Nate Berkus, will join the makeover series with its upcoming ninth season. Brent joins Jonathan Van Ness, Karamo Brown, Antoni Porowski, and Tan France as the Fab Five transform lives in various parts of the country.

The first makeover of Queer Eye‘s upcoming ninth season has already happened: interior designer Jeremiah Brent has been named as the official replacement for original cast member Bobby Berk, who recently announced his departure from the Netflix reality show.

Brent is the founder of Jeremiah Brent Design, a full-service firm with locations in Los Angeles and New York City, as well as the lifestyle brand Atrio. He recently released his first book, The Space That Keeps You, which explores “what gives spaces meaning.” Brent has been married to fellow interior designer Nate Berkus since 2014.

Sports and music representation powerhouse Wasserman has finalized its acquisition of Brillstein Entertainment Partners, the venerable Hollywood management and production company. Terms were not disclosed. Deadline exclusively revealed the acquisition talks back in February.

Wasserman chairman and CEO Casey Wasserman and Brillstein co-CEOs Cynthia Pett and Jon Liebman made the announcement. It puts Wasserman, grandson of the iconic Hollywood representative and studio chief Lew Wasserman, directly into the film and TV representation and production game for the first time. It is the second strategic alignment for Wasserman, who took over the lucrative music touring business that was once the most profitable part of the Paradigm agency, at a time when the pandemic grounded live touring revenues.

It would be the latest move in management after 3Arts made a deal with Lionsgate, and Range Media Partners linked with Automatik.

Sunday’s one-night-only, celebrity-packed livestream return of The Rosie O’Donnell Show raised more than $600,000 in support of The Actors Fund during the Covid-19 pandemic, organizers say.

The special, hosted by O’Donnell and streamed live on Broadway.com and its YouTube channel, featured performances and appearances by numerous Broadway and TV stars, including Shoshana Bean, Tituss Burgess, Kristin Chenoweth, Gavin Creel, Darren Criss, Gloria Estefan, Jordan Fisher, Neil Patrick Harris, Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald & Will Swenson, Katharine McPhee & David Foster, Alan Menken, Matthew Morrison, Ben Platt, Billy Porter and Barry Manilow, among others.

“The Rosie O’Donnell Show” is returning for one night only, featuring some of the biggest names in Broadway.

O’Donnell will live-stream a special on Sunday, March 22 at 7 p.m. Et, to benefit The Actors Fund, which provides resources to those in the entertainment community in need. The special comes after Broadway canceled all of its performances through April 13 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
