Keke Palmer's 10 Best Movies, Ranked
Image
Keke Palmers best roles include some fine distinctions in genre which have taken her from Disney Channel to one of Jordan Peeles best movies. Her fans might identify some common themes throughout her career, but each one of her performances stands out as something unique. She can play a peppy schoolgirl who is a perfect team player or a tough-as-nails young woman who works best alone. Palmer has delivered in movies that are thrilling, shocking, and enlightening, working with some of the best in the industry.

Palmer also has amazing vocals and some voice-acting talent, allowing her to explore more subgenres. She is also widely known for some TV roles, namely Zayday Williams from Scream Queens. Furthermore, when her most recent movie is her best, her career holds more potential still in the future. Drake Responds to Blackface Criticism From Pusha-t Diss Track Photo
More than 48 hours after Pusha-t went after him with an aggressively personal diss track “The Story of Adidon,” Drake responded Wednesday night in a lengthy Instagram stories post.

While Drake did not directly address any of the multiple attacks in the song, he instead explained the startling blackface photo that Pusha used as a cover image (and also by extension a hard lyrical jab in the song about the biracial rapper being “always afraid he wasn’t black enough”).

“I know everyone is enjoying the circus but I want to clarify this image in question,” Drake wrote on his iPhone’s Notes app on Wednesday night. “This was not from a clothing brand shoot or my music career. This picture is from 2007, a time in my life where I was an actor and I was working on a project that was about young black actors struggling to get roles, being stereotyped and type cast.

Drake Says His Controversial Blackface Photos Were Taken to Represent African-American Struggles in the Film Industry
Drake has issued an explanation on his official Instagram account for the controversial photos in which he appears in blackface (click here to view the images). The photos went viral on the internet after rapper Pusha T used them for the artwork of his Drake diss track, “The Story of Adidon.” Drake was criticized for his decision to appear in blackface during a photo shoot, but the rapper said the decision was made with an important struggle in mind.

“I know everyone is enjoying the circus but I want to clarify this image in question,” Drake wrote on Instagram. “This was not from a clothing brand shoot or my music career. This picture is from 2007, a time in my life where I was an actor and I was working on a project that was about young black actors struggling to get roles, being stereotyped and type cast.”

“The photos represented...

We Are Disorderly (2015)
Finally, Drake Had a Degrassi Reunion
We Are Disorderly (2015)
Last week, Degrassi ended its TeenNick era with a farewell special that looked back on the show's first 14 seasons. Several original Next Generation cast members shared memories, including Paige, Spinner, Craig, Marco, and Ellie. But to the disappointment of fans who've been watching since the beginning, Drake — who holds the show's best "Where Are They Now?" story — skipped the reunion. (Though his castmates spent plenty of time dishing on his days as Aubrey — they still call him that! — and, of course, that shooting.) But now we can all stop hating Drake for snubbing the bottom from which he started: He did show up for a mini-Degrassi reunion! On Wednesday night, the 6 God stopped by the premiere of a new web series, We Are Disorderly (launched by other Degrassi alums, Mazin Elsadig and Al Mukadam), and the event turned out to be a who's-who of...

Drake Reunites With His Degrassi Co-Stars—and the Photo Evidence Is Epic: Take a Look!
We Are Disorderly (2015)
Started from the bottom... Drake reunited with his Degrassi co-stars last night at a screening for the new web series We Are Disorderly.  The rapper, whose been busy headlining Ovo Fest and beefing with fellow rapper Meek Mill, managed to take time out of his busy schedule to support former castmates Al Mukaddam and Mazin Elsadig, prompting an impromptu Degrassi reunion when he posed for a pic with Adamo Ruggiero (Marco), Lauren Collins (Paige) and Daniel Clark (Sean).  "It was a #Degrassi reunion tonight at the screening for the hilarious new web series @wearedisorderly," the official Degrassi Instagram page captioned a pic of the former...

Wheelchair Jimmy Returns! See Drake's "Degrassi" Reunion
The kids of Degrassi had their own high school reunion last night! Before being known as Drake, Aubrey Graham made a name for himself as a Canadian actor starring on the Noggin series "Degrassi: The Next Generation." The rapper played Jimmy Brooks on the series, a basketball player who ended up in a wheelchair after a school shooting left him paralyzed. While he left the show in 2007, Drake met up with a trio of his former costars on Wednesday night at the Toronto screening of the new series "We Are Disorderly." At the event, he was seen taking photos with Daniel Clark (Sean Cameron), Adam Ruggiero (Maro Del Rossi) and Lauren Collins (Paige Michalchuk). The series they were supporting is directed by Samir Rehem, who directed a ton of "Degrassi" episodes, and written by Mazin Elsadig, who played Damian on the Noggin show. This is the second mini-"Degrassi" reunion in the past week,...

Drake Wants To Return To Acting, But Has Been Offered 'Ehh' Projects
'I can actually act,' the 'Degrassi' alum tells Xxl.

Although Drake's career as an actor has been on the back burner since his rise to fame as a rapper, the former "Degrassi: The Next Generation" star isn't opposed to returning to his roots.

The problem, however, is the lack of quality material that he's offered.

"That's probably my biggest goal, is to get back into acting and really pick the right projects," Drake told Xxl magazine. "I've been reading different scripts, but I know what I want to do and what type of project I want to be involved in, and I've just been getting the typical projects that they'd offer to a new rapper, and it's like, 'Ehh, that's not really what I want to do or how I see myself.'

"I can actually act," he added.
