Carolyn Carpenter is an actress, producer, and writer. As founder and executive producer for 5 Talent Entertainment, Carolyn has produced and starred in the award-winning films "Evenings Under the Influence," "Sons of God," and "Guardian's Whisper," as well as the streaming series' "The Replacement" and "Recruited." Carolyn continues to produce and act, with several upcoming film and streaming projects underway, including the feature film "Edge of the Break," a surf film that pays homage to her deceased father.
Carolyn began acting in theatre productions at the age of ten in her hometown of La Grange, Illinois, just outside of Chicago. She was drawn to producing even as a child, having formed her own theater troupe producing plays for the local community when she was just 16 years old. Carolyn went on to receive her BFA from The Theatre School of DePaul University (formerly the Goodman School of Drama). Upon graduating, she relocated to Los Angeles and pursued a career as both an actress and a producer in the film and television industry.
