Jailer, the latest film starring Rajinikanth and directed by Nelson, is a black comedy-action thriller that has taken the box office by storm. Jailer tells the story of Muthuvel Pandian, a retired jailer who returns to action when his son Arjun, a cop, goes missing while investigating an idol smuggling racket. Muthuvel, played by Rajinikanth with his trademark charisma and style, sets out to avenge his son and protect his family from the ruthless gangster Varman, played by Vinayakan. Along the way, he crosses paths with several interesting characters, played by actors from different film industries.

She says: “Rekha Ji is hands-down India’s style icon for saris. Her sheer individualism and elegance in her style statement always attract attention whenever she makes an appearance. She has an impeccable sense of style that continues to inspire generation after generation. Interestingly, I recently picked up one red sari inspired by Rekha Ji’s Kanjeevaram in Varanasi.
