Nicole Richie is bringing more “Nikki Fre$h” to Quibi.

The platform has renewed her comedy show for a second season, Variety has learned exclusively, adding to an expanding number of Quibi shows coming back for a second outing.

The series sees Richie in character as her trap alter-ego Nikki Fre$h, interacting with real life experts from the ever-expanding wellness world to learn ways to better serve our bodies and our planet. All the while, she comedically exaggerates those solutions to the edge of sanity.

“The world wants more of my voice, my garden, and my body. And I’m gonna give it to them,” said Richie of the renewal.

During a conversation with Variety to discuss the show, Richie explained that the name Nikki Fre$h is rooted in a hashtag she started using to accompany posts about her edible garden.

The role brings Jordan back to Fox, as he previously starred in the multi-cam comedy “The Cool Kids” for the network. Nikki Fre$h is ready to rap with Quibi.

The digital platform service run by Jeffrey Katzenberg and Meg Whitman announced today it’s teaming up with Nicole Richie and Jax Media on a comedy series titled Nikki Fre$h about Richie’s rapper alter ego.

The series will show Nikki Fre$h bringing a new voice to wellness with a fresh style of music — “Parent Trap” — dropping socially conscious and educational rhymes on the world. She’ll interact with real-life wellness experts, while comedically exaggerating solutions to better health and a healthier planet.

The series will be executive produced by Richie, Michael Baum, and Carrie Franklin, who continues her relationship with the actress, author and reality TV alum since serving as showrunner on Candidly Nicole. Executive Producers for Jax are Lilly Burns, Tony Hernandez, & Séamus Murphy-Mitchell.

Music on the series will be overseen by Joel & Benji Madden’s Mddn.

A well-traveled online video exec has found a new position. Bonnie Pan, who has spent time in prominent positions at Yahoo, Maker Studios, and Endemol Beyond, has been hired as the new Head of Network at AwesomenessTV.

In her new role, Pan -- who has held content-related positions at all of the companies she has worked for over the past four years -- will oversee strategy and programming for AwesomenessTV on YouTube, social media, and other owned-and-operated platforms. A press release indicates that Pan's role will extend to the Awesomeness News venture announced during the most recent Newfronts. AweomenessTV's DreamworksTV and Awestruck ventures will continue to be headed by Birk Rawlings and Carrie Franklin, respectively, who will work alongside the newly-hired exec.
