Richard "Doc" Whitney is a Louisiana native, the second son of nine children. He has been involved in film from an early age aspiring to make movies without thinking of moving to the front of the camera. After winning the "Voice of Democracy" award his senior year in high school he began writing. While writing was primarily a pastime it has blossomed into a creative habit.
