The Warner Bros. Discovery network, however, has pushed the premiere of the series back a week following the incident.

Deadline understands that TBS will air the first episode on January 18. It was originally scheduled to air on January 11. It has been replaced in the schedule with a repeat on Young Sheldon.

There had been reports earlier today that the series had been shelved after it was removed from the January 11 schedule.

Usher is speaking out after a family tragedy. The 44-year-old singer took to Instagram on Monday to share a lengthy tribute to his grandmother, Ernestine Carter, who died on Christmas Eve at her home in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was 87.

“It’s taken me a few days to come to grips with the fact that my Grandma Tina is no longer with me,” Usher began alongside photos and videos of his late grandma. “I’m praying for clarity and strength for all whom relied on her. Her daily devotion was to help those in need and she did just that. It was her life’s work. She was truly a prayer warrior for me and so many others. I feel a bit lost right now.”

While Usher said that “part of me is trying to be strong, for others,” he admitted that “the other half of me continues to break silently.

Stephen Greif — the British actor known for his work on some iconic British TV shows including “Blake’s 7”, “Citizen Smith” and, most recently, Netflix’s “The Crown” — has died. He was 78.

News of Greif’s death was first shared by his agency, Michelle Braidman Associates, who took to social media to share a tribute to the veteran actor.

“With great sadness we announce the death of our wonderful client Stephen Greif,” the agency shared. “His extensive career included numerous roles on screen and stage, including at the National Theatre, RSC and in the West End.”

“We will miss him dearly and our thoughts are with his family and friends,” the statement added.

UFC fighter, Stephan Bonnar has died. He was 45. The news of the athlete’s death was shared by the organization on Christmas Eve. According to the announcement, Bonnar died from presumed heart complications.

“The UFC family is saddened by the tragic passing of UFC Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar Thursday from presumed heart complications while at work. He was 45,” Dana White, president of the organization announced via the site.

“Stephan Bonnar was one of the most important fighters to ever compete in the Octagon,” White’s statement continued. “His fight with Forrest Griffin changed the sport forever, and he will never be forgotten. The fans loved him, related to him and he always gave them his best. He will be missed.”

No other details about his death have been shared.

While he hasn’t had the success of Lesnar, Lashley’s 11-2 record as a professional mixed martial artist is nothing to scoff at. He’s won both his Bellator Mma fights so far, recently signed a new contract with the promotion, and a title shot is potentially on the horizon.

That’s not where the big money is for Bobby Lashley, however. As far as Mma is concerned, the biggest potential match-up would be against another wrestler. There are a number of names out there who could fit the bill, and Bellator Mma, who have shown that they are willing to book purely...

When Quinton “Rampage” Jackson signed with Bellator in 2013, it was huge news. Sure, Rampage was on an 0-3 skid in the Ufc and looked like he had lost his will to fight, coming in overweight and laying a goose egg in his beloved second home of Japan, and complaining about everything from money to having to face wrestlers who wouldn’t stand and trade punches with him (this from a guy who relied on solid wrestling early in his career), but he was still a big name that drew eyeballs. Speaking to TMZ, Ortiz first said “congratulations” to Punk on the signing, then added

When asked about whether he thought Punk had skill, or if he was just there to sell tickets, Ortiz suggested that it all came down to whether or not Punk was willing to be punched in the face. The underlying statement was that if Punk can’t take a punch, he’ll probably be one and done in the Ufc.

Brock Lesnar is set for a return to Mma when his WWE contract expires in April 2015. WWE, Ufc and Bellator Mma are likely to be interested in his commercial appeal. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer has stated “At this moment he’s leaning towards the Ufc.”

However, Bellator is aggressively playing the game to bring in recognised name fighters. Furthermore, Bellator could suit Brock’s skill level more than the Ufc. As for WWE, they are potentially going to be priced out of extending Lesnar’s current deal. The WWE Network expense means that Brock’s value is diminished in pro wrestling.

The big news leading into Bellator 129 has very little to do with the action inside the Bellator cage: Bellator Mma has signed Ufc Hall of Famer and their inaugural champion Royce Gracie. The news actually broke in the build-up to Bellator 128, but with a title fight headlining that card (won by Joe Warren, now the promotion’s first full-fledged two weight class champ), there was still a lot to talk about. Bellator 129, however, has largely been overshadowed by continued talk of the signing of Gracie, one of the biggest names in Mma history – though well past the point of actual combat.

Instead, Gracie will serve as a “Promotional Brand Ambassador” – meaning he’ll show up at events and no doubt help lure fighters to the promotion. It’s a Chuck Liddell type of job, something that the Ufc probably should have given him – but may have passed on because...

Featuring a headlining bout of light heavyweight champion Emanuel Newton taking on the Mexicutioner Joey Beltran, the promotion’s 124 event was a bit of a patchwork affair. The title shot for Beltran felt like the influence of Scott Coker at work: put in a guy with a name, even if he hasn’t won a lot lately. In fact, it was extremely reminiscent of Keith Jardine’s middleweight title shot in Strikeforce: The Dean of Mean hadn’t won a single fight for the promotion (his first appearance was a draw), yet his drop to middleweight earned him an instant title shot against then-champion Luke Rockhold.

The American Pyscho is out of retirement – and in Bellator Mma.

That’s right – the most outlandish Mma rumour of the month has panned out, as Ufc Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar has signed with Bellator Mma, according to a press release posted to their official website. As per the release, “I want everyone to know I’m coming out of retirement because it’s time to free the Mma world of the virus that’s known as Tito Ortiz,” Bonnar said. “We’ve been suffering through his boring fights for too many years, and it’s about time that someone beats it out of him once and for all.”

Wow. It appears the move has the blessing of Dana White, and was in the works since at least earlier this month, as the rumour slipped out about a week ago thanks to Twitter...

The success of the Ultimate Fighter series has made the Ufc the global phenomenon it is today.

Millions tuned in to watch the first series back in 2005, culminate in an epic fight between two Ufc hopefuls in Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar.

The fight saw 3.3 million viewers tune in to watch two men go at it no holds barred, in turn capturing the spirit of Mma. Little did they know just what they had started.

Ufc president Dana White credits the success of Ufc and it’s standing today to the first series of a show not like anything else seen on television before.

Tuf to this day draws nearly half a million each episode with much more for the finale with the chance for fighters to make the step up to the big leagues to good to pass up.

Jon Jones has almost cleaned out the light heavyweight division in the Ufc. He’s been the most dominant light heavyweight champ in Ufc history, but there are still a few compelling names out there that get us excited to see Jones step into the octagon.

Remember when Jon “Bones” Jones first burst onto the Ufc scene in 2008? He dominated Andre Gusmao in his debut, threw Tuf 1 runner-up Stephan Bonnar around the Octagon like a rag doll, smashed Vladimir Matyushenko and Brandon Vera, submitted Jake O’Brien and Ryan Bader, then won the Ufc light heavyweight title by stopping Mauricio “Shogun” Rua via Tko in 2011. At just 23-years old Jones had become the youngest champion in Ufc history.

Fans were enamored and enthralled as Jones continued to smash the competition. He made legends look like children and fans began contemplating a super fight between Jones and then reigning Ufc middleweight champ Anderson “The Spider” Silva. Onlookers wondered in amazement if the young upstart could finally be the one to match Silva’s skills inside the Octagon.

There can be no doubt that Anderson Silva is the greatest Mixed Martial Arts fighter of all time. He may very well be the greatest fighter that combat sports has ever seen. At Ufc 153 Anderson Silva was simply breathtaking. The ease with which he dispatched of Stephan Bonnar was truly remarkable. Let’s not forget that Bonnar was the larger fighter and had gone the distance with elite level fighters such as Rashad Evans and Jon Jones. In fact Bonnar had never been stopped in his entire career from either a submission or due to strikes; Anderson Silva destroyed him in the first round.

What is even more impressive is that for most of the first round it appeared as if he wasn’t even trying. Most agreed that Bonnar’s best chance of success was to get Anderson against the cage and use his superior size to rough him up.

Win or lose, Ufc badass Stephan Bonnar is hauling ass back to the U.S. following his bout against Anderson Silva at Ufc 153 -- and TMZ has learned, it's all because his pregnant wife's on the verge of a baby-splosion. Stephan's wife Andrea tells TMZ, she's due to give birth at the end of the month -- but on the off chance she pops early, Stephan wants to be by her side.Ufc 153 is taking...

After the debacle of Ufc 151 it is refreshing to see a champion stepping in at late notice to save a card and to have the greatest fighter ever step in to do it is even better.

This fight is sure to deliver and if it is anything like Silva’s last bout at light heavyweight then fans are in for a magnificent spectacle of martial arts. For Bonnar this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to test himself against the greatest fighter in Ufc history. He is expected to get annihilated by the vastly superior Silva...

The Ufc's Ultimate Fighter (Tuf) reality TV series returned to our screens last Friday night, but arrived with a twist -- as well as the fastest knockout in its history, at just eight seconds. While the show carried the same format and dangled the same prize at the end of it all, the action was, for the first time, live and pretty much uninterrupted and the season will, in time, be far more interactive than ever before, offering fight fans the opportunity to participate and dictate the fates of those inside the house.

A runaway success since its inception in 2005, this latest tweaking should ensure it remains as such, following the odd hit-and-miss season of late. With change comes a period for reflection, however, and now seems as good a time as any to remember and highlight some of the show's very best success stories, if only to provide inspiration...

Here's an awesome new trailer for a upcoming documentary called I Am Bruce Lee. There's already a good amount of Bruce Lee documentaries that have been made over the years, but this one looks pretty badass. The movie was directed by Pete McCormack, and includes a ton of footage of Lee as well as several interviews with different celebrities including Mickey Rourke, Ed O'Neill, Manny Pacquiao, Gina Carano, and Kobe Bryant. I'm a huge fan of Bruce Lee, and I already watch the same old docs about him over and over again, so it will be great to see a new one.
