Dragon Ball and One Piece Fans Didn't Notice This Major Connection Between The Two Series
Image
Dragon Balland One Pieceare two of the most recognizable anime series ever created. Millions of people tune into every new episode, keen to see where Goku and Luffy's adventures take them next. Naturally, as both franchises are often active simultaneously, many animators have worked on both shows in various amounts. One such person is Naohiro Shintani, who has played a massive role in One Piece and Dragon Ball history.

Naohiro has a long relationship with anime. In an interview published on the Dragon Ball website, Naohiro explained that:

"I watched the [Dragon Ball] anime from the time I was in elementary school. I believe the anime was what got me interested in it first, rather than the manga. Plenty of other people I knew liked Dragon Ball, too. I went to the theater with my big brother each year to watch the movies."

It's a well-known fact that only a small percentage of the Otaku community actively consumes Chinese anime, but those who do are aware of the incredible quality and exquisite animation seen throughout the episodes. So, if you're looking for some amazing anime shows to watch in February,...
