Was diagnosed with stage two thyroid cancer in 2010. Underwent a total thyroidectomy, and as of 2022, is in full remission. Underwent a cardiac ablation in 2022 resulting from the Moderna Covid vaccine, which forced him to retire from acting.
Signed with ICM as a screenwriter in 2005, but switched to acting in 2018. In 2022 he retired from acting to pursue a career in writing fiction.
