While most movies announce their cast members in the lead-up to production starting, Lionsgate's Saw: Legacy, the first Saw movie in seven years, has taken the opposite approach. With filming wrapped, the studio has announced that Laura Vandervoort and Hannah Anderson will star in the horror sequel, although nothing about their characters has been revealed at this time. While no story details or other cast members have been confirmed, there were a few interesting rumors swirling around the production, when filming was under way last fall.
Variety reports that the movie is currently in post-production, and that the previously-announced release date of October 27, just four days before Halloween, is still intact. Back in November, when production was under way, a rumor surfaced that both Tobin Bell would be returning as John Kramer, a.k.a. Jigsaw, along with Jon Cor's Ryan from the last installment, 2010's Saw 3D. There...

Scheduled for an October 27th, 2017 release, Saw: Legacy is directed by Michael and Peter Spierig (Predestination, Daybreakers, Undead) from a screenplay by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfinger. The franchise’s producers Mark Burg, Gregg Hoffman, and Oren Koules are all returning to back Saw: Legacy.

Sneak Peek footage from Season 2 of the 'female werewolf' drama series "Bitten", returning February 7, 2015, starring actress Laura Vandervoort ('Supergirl' in "Smallville"), based on the New York Times best-selling novels by author Kelley Armstrong:
"...'Elena Michaels' (Vandervoort), the world's only female werewolf, is forced to take on life-threatening responsibilities in a male-dominated world.
"In Season 1, Elena was pushed to embrace her 'inner wolf'.
"From the 'Mutt' uprising orchestrated by 'The Pack' leader Jeremy Danvers' (Greg Bryk), to finding dead ex-boyfriend 'Phillip' (Paul Greene) in her bed, Elena is out for blood.
"Reunited with The Pack and her true love 'Clay Danvers' (Greyston Holt), nothing stands in the way of protecting her family and hunting down those who seek to destroy them.
"Season 2 sees The Pack on the hunt for 'Malcolm' (James McGowan). In their quest to capture him, they uncover a more sinister force that threatens the existence of the werewolf species.
