That's What She Said (2012)
Phase 4 Films Buys Sundance Next Comedy 'That's What She Said'
That's What She Said (2012)
Phase 4 Films has acquired North American rights to the Sundance Next title "That's What She Said," starring Anne Heche and directed by Carrie Preston. It's the story of two best friends -- one who's trying to move on from a relationship, the other starting a new romance. They meet a third woman with her own love issues and a series of New York misadventures begins. As Preston told Indiewire before Sundance began, "'That's What She Said' is a chick flick that’s not for pussies. It is an unflinching answer to the ubiquitous bro-mance, so I guess you could call it a wo-mance." Producers are Lucy Barzun Donnelly, Joshua Astrachan, Mona Panchal and Preston. Executive producers are Mark Holmes and James Vasquez. Submarine Films repped the title in the sale.
