György Szabad was born on 4 August 1924 in Arad, Romania. He is known for The Revolt of Job (1983), Égetö Eszter (1989) and A kétségbeesés méltósága (1998). He was married to Andrea Sujan. He died on 3 July 2015 in Budapest, Hungary.
