DC Comics Announces New ‘Legends of The Dark Knight’ Creative Teams
DC Comics has just released the new lineup of creative talent that will be handling Legends of the Dark Knight, a digital-first title currently available on comiXology. The title was first launched back in June in an attempt to expand DC’s digital-first library, first releasing the single issues online and eventually publishing the entire series in a trade paperback collection. With new “chapters” arriving each Thursday, Legends of the Dark Knight features standalone stories that are out-of-continuity from the regular New 52 Batman titles found on store shelves.

Due to heavy rainfall in New York city yesterday, all scheduled matches were cancelled so today the fourth concludes up and the quarter-finals begin. The year’s final Grand Slam, situated in the hectic Flushing Meadows grounds, has seen the “big four” male players – Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Andy Murray – sail through the draw smoothly, while upsets and withdrawals have littered the women’s field.

Djokovic has been impressive playing in his first slam as the World No. 1. This season, the Djoker has proved extra pressure that comes from heightened expectations is no problem, winning his first 43 matches of 2011 and compiling an impressive record of 61 wins and just one loss. Djokovic whizzed through his four matches without losing a set, his only challenge coming from the unorthodox Ukrainian Alexander Doglopolov who stretched him in a 31 point first set tie-break before going down 7-6, 6-4, 6-2. Milk (2008)
"Milk" picked up another nomination Wednesday as the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation announced nominees for its 20th annual GLAAD Media Awards.

Best picture Oscar nominee "Milk," from Focus, was included in GLAAD's outstanding film in wide release category, where it will compete with Miramax's "Brideshead Revisted," Columbia's "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist," Warners' "RocknRolla" and the Weinstein Co.'s "Vicky Cristina Barcelona."

Among television contenders, the nominees for outstanding drama series are ABC's "Brothers & Sisters," Showtime's "The L Word," The N's "South of Nowhere," BBC America's "Torchwood" and HBO's "True Blood."

The comedy series nominees are ABC's "Desperate Housewives," ABC Family's "Greek," the CW's "Reaper," BBC America's "Skins" and ABC's "Ugly Betty."
